One of my favorite little details about this show is that B and B-H aren’t completely stupid, but you can tell what knowledge they have must have come from TV instead of the classroom. Butthead knowing about a “tail gunner” is kind of impressive in its way, but you get the feeling he learned about them from an old late night war movie that he and Beavis sat up watching for all the totally cool violence.

This was a pretty interesting episode, even if it was very rarely shown, and believe it's airing was pretty much a one shot (no pun intended) deal. It was also one of the few which never got an official home release for that matter as well. This was when B & B's shock value was still very high, albeit didn't last a whole lot longer when they were forced to tone things down not too long afterwards. It drove me crazy for years when I wondered what the segment(s) the two still frames of this one shown in Season 3's ending credits were all about. That was when they showed the parts when Beavis flipped the fork in Butt-head's head, and when the duo wore their disguises were all about for many years, not knowing they were related, and from the same one too! That was until I realized why they kind of kept this particular episode so tightly under wraps though! (L.O.L.!)
This teacher is insanely cool. Not only is he not afraid of guns, but he respects others of owning them and doesn’t keep it forever when confiscated. Probably shouldn’t let teens have one, but I am assuming he knows how much of a good guy Earl is and only means well.

This teacher is insanely cool. Not only is he not afraid of guns, but he respects others of owning them and doesn’t keep it forever when confiscated. Probably shouldn’t let teens have one, but I am assuming he knows how much of a good guy Earl is and only means well.
