      While the can opener *worked*, it's still pants compared to any other brand of opener. It struggles way too much and takes too long. I suspect if you used it on a real big can that it wouldn't even be able to open it.

      It's the hallmark of a good reviewer. Sometimes a product just performs poorly on the basis of one or two user errors and otherwise works great. Or sometimes a product is just too "fiddly". You really have to put it through its paces and ask yourself if you might be doing something wrong to really figure out if it's the one or the other.

    • @soupsgord
      @soupsgord 3 роки тому

      I just wish he would google how to correctly use the products he reviews before he reviews them so he can give them an honest chance. I mean it’s silly to say a basket steamer doesn’t steam veggies well when he has NO idea how to use one properly and it’s been around for decades- makes him look dumb when he is not. There have been other products that have been around for a while he just came across that he wrote off because he hadn’t researched how to use them. SMH

      if one misuse breaks it it cant be that sturdy to begin with. the concept of it felt good to me as a student but if i could come home hammered and wake up with a broken cutting board theres not much point in getting it

    I have the can opener and swear by it! Really helps with my hand problems. The cutting blade moves up to the can, then when you press the button again it moves away. This allows it to accommodate different thickness cans

    5:40 this is just a plastic grinder, you can get one in metal from any smartshop/coffeeshop in the Netherlands

    Bought the slush machine a while back. Works fantastically. Uses a HUGE amount of ice though.

    My mum has carpal tunnel and uses both the culinere openers, they work a treat and are a total life saver for her, so I can say they are a must buy for those who need help and those who don't.

    OMG, Barry, you just reminded me of The Simpson’s where Bart and Millhouse ordered an all-syrup Squishee from the Kwik-E-Mart.

    The problem with most automatic can opener is that they leave a razor sharp edge on the can.
