If I wanted to add dried herbs to the feta cheese, when would I add them to the cheese mixture? Thinking of dried roasted tomatoes, basil and oregano .
We don't all have access to goat or sheep milk, this may not be authentic but it tastes just like feta. Oh and thank you so much for your helpful comment, I'm sure you feel better about yourself now.
Thank you for the wonderful video 😊 may I ask where do you get the renet? TIA

Did you want it to be part of the cheese, I put mine in oil after I make it and I add these things in.
@@suntwistacreshomesteadingh8813 Yes, I wanted the spices to be a part of the cheese.
You could probably add it to the milk before you add the rennet.
@@suntwistacreshomesteadingh8813 Thank you
one question when you add the ingredients you still heat the milk on lower heat or you turned of the stove
Turn it off
@@suntwistacreshomesteadingh8813 thank you for answering
Greek here, it is important that the milk is either from a goat or a sheep.
If its from a cow, then what you are making is not feta.

I have rennet tablets, how many tablets?
1 table = 1 tsp unless it's double strength then it's 1/2 tsp
