Loved the video!💕 Just started my comic book collection and found Toon Haven. They offer a huge variety of digital comics for every genre, and lifetime updates too!😍
There are tons of videos that will help you learn how to grade, and I recommend them over all of the books.. you don’t need to be an expert, just be able to get a ball park idea.
Thanks for sharing for those that are not aware of the tools. I knew how to see past sales on my desktop using eBay, but now I know that I can use filter on my phone. I bought my direct edition Batman Adventures #12 5 years ago this coming April. I'm glad to see it continuing to rise in value. I don't know that I'll ever sell it though. Never say never. I love your game/comic room in the background.
Love your video but had a question I don't know how to determine what very good, fine, good are, what would you call comics from the 70's and 80's that has been read a few times and have been in a plastic and never touched since, none are folded or torn
@@valadez39 there are tons of UA-cam videos you can look at to help grade books like that. CGC also has a book that they put out with tons of picture examples and definitions. That's honestly the best place I can suggest you check out to understand what you want to know.
Yeah for sure. It's all about being able to check a few places fast to get that ball park. Does any of these apps give you the true FMV? Probably not, but it's hard to argue when you have 4 sources that show the same general value on a book.
In my opinion, raw comic prices are over inflated. The only time they are accurate is when you buy them to fill holes in collections IN THE CONTEXT OF you already having achieved much of a collection at $1 or less cost per book. If you don't know that, THEN you think your comics are worth more overall than they actually are.
Yeah I get the hard feelings around the topic of prices being inflated. That's one reason why I created this video so that people can tell if they're getting ripped off or not quickly. If it turns out the price of the book is more than you're willing to pay for it then that's a personal decision. Some people just want to know if they're getting a good deal or not based on "current market value".
If only there was a video on this... Hmm if you are interested i can upload a video tomorrow and contact you, the copies i have are from my dads childhood, are you realy interested???!!

@@ComicCulture Covrprice is a great resource.
For sure. Especially since it connects to CLZ now.
very helpful, worth the watch
ill definitely try that, thanks!
Are those apps not available on android? I tried to look them up in the Google store and can't seem to grind them
They are just sites it turns out. I've been using bookmarks for so long I forgot
@Comic Culture ahh that makes more sense now. Thanks. They really should develop apps though. Would be so much more convenient
Yeah for sure. Although the website bookmark works surprisingly well.

The free version can't let you do anything. You are essentially forced to pay to be able to use the features of the app/website
