Using the Sniper Marine Scout Pole for my MEGA Live

- In this video, I install my Humminbird MEGA Live transducer using the mounting bracket from FishFinderMounts.com and the pole from Sniper Marine. The install is on my Old Town Sportsman AutoPilot 136, but can be applied to just about any kayak.

Can the baseplate fit a standard 1/4 T track like on the Bonafide SS127 that runs parallel, bow to stern or will I need to modify?
Yes, but you have to get the track mount option. Mine wasn't made for track mount, and I had limited space in the area where I wanted to mount it. That's why I did it like I did.
Will that mount work for Garmin Livescope?
Yes, it will. It works with all the forward facong sonar.
Really curious about this setup for my own AP, I’m curious why you placed the pole behind you it may be hard to see the arrow on top of the box no?
I haven't had any problems. Its not really behind me. Maybe just slightly.
I really didnt have a lot of choice of where else to put it with as much as I have mounted.

The mount is their Live mounting system. Not sure if its called anything other then that. It's the gen3.
