I was concerned that the drum was going to put excessive strain on the belts when I removed the front plate, but your video reassured me of safely removing it. As a precaution, I still had several blocks of wood holding up the drum, and noticed that there wasn't much additional pressure once the front plate was off. Thanks tons for a great video. If you have this dryer or one of the several like it out there, it's worth it to take the front off until the blower motor is exposed just to clean it every 6-12 months... you'll be surprised how much dirt, sand, lint and junk are still down there sticking to the blower blades, regardless of how well you cleaned the lint trap.

My spring is wicked tight and doesn't look as easy as yours to pull. I put my new belt on but can not for the life of my put that spring to the hook on the bottom I don't know why and its bruised up my damn arm and irritating the heck out of me! Help!! Why is mine so much tighter than yours?

Never mind I was putting it in the wrong hole hahah damn is that how most guys feel posing their virginity cos it seems like I just did with putting a damn belt on lol
