I am seriously considering the ferris 36 because of this Chanel. But here in Sydney the ferris dealer is selling this mower only rear discharge with mulching kit, at this time, what do you think?
I’ve been able to do all I need with the mulch kit in place. Once leaves start falling I’m mulching those as well. It may take longer but I’m just going to charge for the time. I honestly don’t know anything about the rear discharge. I’ll have to check that out!
I can mow this hill in a up and down direction but I have to run into the neighbors yard at the bottom and she wants hers cut separately now. It was actually easier that way, just had to be careful at the top and let it make coast down the hill on it’s on.
@@ThatCrazyGrassGuy I would love this ferris but with the wider wheel base it makes it 42" and I cant get into the smaller gates. otherwise this thing is amazing
That hill is pretty steep and the Z1 held pretty good. Would have like to see how it did on the upper section. Thanks!!
I’ll get it next time we mow this property. It was pretty hot today and the camera overheated 🥵

I’d be curious to know what the outside width of the bigger wheels is as well. Did you have to change the rims or just the tires?
Came with the tires on it already.
Did the tires from the 48” mower fit the same rims that came on the 36”?
Just curious if you had to buy new rims
It came with them on it. I never asked. Good question
Wouldn't be a good idea to mow it in a downwards direction?

Does the deck ever cut ruts when you on a hill that steep? My Bobcat does
Nope, never has.
looking at either a site down ferris 42 or maybe even the stander.....im more comfortable sitting bc for 15 years that's all i know. any advice here
If you can run a sit down you’ll love a stander. More control. Once you get the hang of it you’ll be taking it places you never thought you could go!

@@michaelknowsstocks5170 Most gates I had to go through were plenty wide enough. Mostly new builds
How wide are the tires you have on it? Also, are they the stock wheels?
Nope those are off the 48” model
How wide are the tires in the mower with the big tires?
Thanks
I’ll have to measure them. I’ll get back with you!

Any measurements yet?
