I really think hammock sleeping is underrated in van/vehicle life. I watched a video where a gentleman said sleeping in the hammock helped his chronic back pain.
Sleep months in a row in a hammock and relax the muscles. Takes a few days to get used to it. And a underquilt will help for cold weather while in the hot temperatures you have air flowing under you. And saves so much space compared to a buildinbed. And easy to transfer when you pass a wooded area.
Getting in bed like that will keep her young! Good for her, thinking outside the box. I have thought of using a hammock floor/loft net to sleep on in a van build.
Told you I'd be back. my only concern would be that the wall was strong enough to support that hammock, but apparently it's doing a great job so far. I can't even get my screws for my blinds to stay in the wall in my camper. lol
I would assume the studs are very strong since they were previously supporting the bed that raised and lowered. Thanks for taking the time to come back and watch!!
Love this video. Love you and Toni. Great tour and vid! That is such a cool solution for a bed! Cute pup and great bike. Toni is one courageous woman. Thanks for sharing.
Love the VW bus sign. Huge VW fan here! There is no way I could sleep in a hammock. I wouldn't be able to move the next day. My back would be screaming at me lol. It's a great idea, though.
I don't think my joints could handle it either but Toni says she sleeps great in the hammock. I'm glad she was able to find a solution that works for her. Thanks for stopping by to watch!!!
I did this tour a couple of years ago. I know that she has since gone back to using a bed. I do not know the size of the hammock but I believe she chose that hammock for the comfort and durability.

I don't think I could do it long term but I sure do enjoy a lazy afternoon in a hammock down by a babbling brook.
It's helped my back pain immensely
Awesome Class A! Great interview and tour. She has it worked out.
Thank ya Dan!! Pretty innovative to figure out what would work best for her.

What an amazing camper! Toni is so good at being able to get in and out of the hammock like that.
Yep. She's got it figured out.
She was pretty graceful getting into thar hammock!!
I know! I've never been graceful at all getting in or out of a hammock. Lol

A hammock is a brilliant low cost solution. I don't think it's feasible for the long term for most people though.

Hi, thank you for the video 😊 can you tell me what size hammock this is? Also why did you choose that company?

What are those bright light looking things towards the front of the rv?
It looks like lights or strip lights to me.
