Wow that is gorgeous! I've only ever seen one owl in the wild, maybe a decade ago and I may actually be the same species. Although my sighting wasn't as close or clear as this since it was in a tree.
What baffles me more then you capturing him on camera, is the fact that you were able to get close and move around and he just sat there O.o crazy, cool and beautiful! (also very jealous, as I have NEVER seen an owl in the wild yet >
@@GrowingSerenity hello growing serenity I feel so lucky to capture this owl and he let me walk right up to him, which is almost like he was tame about feeding him mice I’m sure there’s lots of mice there for him to be feeding. I don’t need to go to pet store I pretty well have my own pet store at my camp. Lots of my 77 mice I caught last year.
What a beautiful barred owl. They are known to be gentle and curious, but still odd that it would sit there that long...maybe it was hoping you had a mouse or two to share, LOL.
@@WeGoPlacesTours I feel so lucky to see the Owl. Just when I had talked about hopping to see one. And there it was Saturday afternoon at my Camp. And for watching
