Hello Nigel, how are you finding the Kobra? Is their any options for carrying panniers as I'm looking at using one of these for my daily commute? What's it like on long trips? Have you got any recommendations for upgrades??
Hi, I loved my Kobra but sold it a while ago. It's a treat trike. Yes, it has a pannier rack - I used the Ortlieb front panniers on it and still use them on my new ICE Trike. The No bra is great for long trips but I do enjoy the suspension and foldability of the ICE.
do you use the trike every day or is it only during the summer. if you are using it through the night and winter time what kind of lighting do you use.
Hi Leo, I tend to be a fair-weather rider so it's been in the garage since October last year. I intend to get it serviced this month tho so plan to do some 'winter' rides. Lighting hasn't been sorted yet. I have some standard road lights on it currently that are not good enough for the dark off-road paths that I tend to ride on.
i recently bought an typhoon last summer and use it for work. the basic lighting i use are (knog) lightings and on road only. and suprised to see that you live in bracknell.
I took my Cobra down to KMX yesterday for a service and an upgrade to bar-end shifters. They've got a nice new mid-range model and some electric ones too... didn't have enough time to try them out tho. Someone has to live in Bracknell, I got the short straw ;)
Hi Leo, sorry for the delayed response. Actually I rarely need to lock the trike as it lives in the garage at home and when I'm out I generally don't leave it alone. Having said that I do have a lock - it's just a padlock with a wire wrapped chain. I only wrap it thru the back wheel and frame... Not the safest but trikes stick out like a saw thumb so it's not that easy to get away with...
Will you ALL stop doing this ..I live in an area that gets lots of tourist cyclists and most cycle like you on top of drain covers too close to the kerb , side walk . YOU have the right to take up a certain space on the road .If you are too close to the edge of the pavement you have no where to maneover .Also thats where all the crap from the road collects, at best you end up with a pucture, at worst..Be SAFE ride with confidence all cyclists have rights and with common sense it wont cost you money or your life ...

Good luck

Hello! I'm not sure but I'm sure it wasn't nice ;-) I've had write a few incidents like that - mostly from ignorant, uneducated types
