    Have to say I have watched a lot of your videos and it is amazing the amount of work that tractor can do. It is the ultimate truck garden machine. Thanks for sharing.

      Hey Peter, Thank you for watching . It is a all around tractor , it’s kinda funny when I was younger we used them really just for cultivating and pulling tobacco trailers through the field. I learned to appreciate it a ton more after I didn’t have any tractor for about 5 yrs. I hope to do some plowing videos, this fall and probably some more disking too.

    The IHC Cub, 100, and 140 series of tractors were the most popular small tractors of the mid twentieth century One of my uncles had a cattle and Cotton farm in the Boston mountains in West Central Arkansas and he used a Farmall Cub to do most of the field work in the 1940's and 1950's

      One cub as small as it is still probably did the work of 2 mules or more mabye. My daddy said when Grand Paw got the 100 Farmall he didn’t want them to use it to much cause he didn’t want to pack the dirt. Lol

      I was a little aggravated I didn’t get them set right because I was pushed for time. I may try to use them some on the sunflower field . They will throw some dirt .

      @@Jtwes mines about 4 in. Tall. Just planted some yesterday too. It's early corn it'll most likely be alright. Good job on the fertilizer hopper conversion.

    Thanks for sharing, you were using the shifting spanner wrong :) and that little tractor deserves to have that headlight repaired.

    Not gonna say you using the wrench backwards but you are using metric wrench and not the standard wrench. ;) Love the tractor and the channel.

      Dan C I’m sorry I didn’t see that video was rolling desk cultivators yes they are homemade I don’t remember where I got the kit from but some farmers made the spacers in washers that you take up the space with and I bought www.agrisupply.com/searchcenter.aspx?keyword=Rolling+cultivators&prv=&adv=&hawkb=the desk from my supply but I don’t really know if they make them anymore

    I'm not going to say that you are using it backwards. I'll just say that I hate to see anyone use a cent wrench.

    • @Jtwes
      @Jtwes  3 роки тому

      I really don’t make a habit of using one there just convenient for the 140 cause I can carry just one wrench. You are right , I do use it backwards a lot. Lol

      @@Jtwes a place that I used to work, I would cringe Everytime the maintenance guys showed up with a cent wrench, channel lock pliers, a screwdriver and a hammer and start working on something. I have to say though that I like your videos. I am wanting an offset tractor for my gardening.
