Guruji, please talk about this Pooja Khedkar case… she perceived IAS with fake OBC that’s too non creamy layer and also from fake disabled person category . Her assets are 17cr and father has 40cr. There will be no justice until awareness of this news is spread among public. We have seen this in Pune Porsche and also Mumbai BMW case. I’m just angry.

So only option is the sector which is doing very well for past 2 years - STOCK MARKET. In the Budget if there is proposal for LTCG profit tax @ 20% STCG profit @ 25% and F&O profit @ 30% - how will the market react?

I have invested 50L in her fund and my investment hypothesis are: small caps to large cap ratio is at all time lows(profits wise and share price wise)in the US and mean reversion is bound to happen from here, companies in her portfolio like Tesla,palantir,Roku,ui path are on the path of bringing truly disruptive innovation, interest rate cuts would enable funds to flow in US small caps and emerging markets so even if her philosophy would be wrong this will act as a tactical call.

The investment in corporate FD's is not safe. In late 1990's DCM, Escorts etc delayed the payment of maturity of FD's for prolonged period. I recently lost up to 95 to 98% in SREI Equipment Finance NCD's. I am still invested in NCD's of ECL Finance, Edelweiss Finance, IIFL Finance, Muthoot Finance & Shriram Finance. How much should I worry?

Also, a bit confused. I am a high risk investory and want to put in 50 lakh in a smallcase and am okay taking major risk with the deployed capital. What should I choose, Focused smallcase or vision 30 smallcase?

By that logic, US gdp growth generally is 3-4% and target inflation is 2-3%, so US market shud grow by 5-7% annually ?

Many PSU stocks have given more than 10x return per year in recent rally of PSU stocks. RVNL has gone up from 30 to 600+ in past two years. I had few PSU stocks but had exited after gain of 100%. I am repenting the sell deceision now. However, after selling I continuosly saw the rise of those PSU stocks but could rebuy them because of fear of sharp correction in PSU stocks that can happen (I believe so). That fear still prevent me to touch PSU stocks. How can I overcome this fear?
Hi Sir, could you please throw some light on why a lower CPI in USA lead to small cap rally and boosting of russell index, and fall of tech stocks? A Lower CPI and inflation data now increases chances of interest rate cuts. This should have given a boost to tech stock. Instead market saw NASDAQ sliding? Why so?

Basant-ji, you often talk about the large Indian technology companies, the kind the work they do and their stock performance. Interestingly the world’s large global technology funds from the likes of Fidelity, Franklin, JPMorgan, Janus Henderson etc. seems to have no allocation in these Indian Technology companies in spite of each one having the word “Technology” in their company name. Interestingly these funds also don’t have their foreign cousins like Cognizant. What’s your thoughts and take on this?
