I agree, the exhaust is very impressive! It might be my favorite part of the whole truck. Baja does drone with the windows up at 75mph, but then I can just flip it to normal or quiet and all the drone goes away. Best of both worlds!
Nice raptor! Btw, since you have been doing mods to your raptor. Have you considered installing the fully LED headlights? Like the ones on the fully loaded raptor?
The factory headlights on my 800A are LED. The difference is the high package has LED Projector headlights with dynamic bending. It would be cool if you could but I'm not sure a swap is possible as I believe there are several modules involved in the dynamic bending feature of the LED projectors.
What’s the cabin sound level compared to the gen2? Also, how about drone between mode settings? Viewed a video that mentions drone. Can’t be worse than a 5.0 without resonators….🤔
Compared to a stock gen 2, the cabin noise level is similar in normal exhaust mode. In quiet mode, there is virtually no cabin exhaust noise while cruising at highway speeds. In sport or baja mode, the cabin exhaust noise is louder than a gen 2 by quite a bit. There is some drone in the cabin when in sport and baja exhaust mode. Not much, until you are over about 60mph. But then you can just flip it back to normal or quiet and all the drone goes away. It is really the best of both worlds to have the ability to change modes. Loud when you want it, and quiet when you don't. I will try and do another video soon showing the interior noise in all the different exhaust modes. Thanks for watching!
I really don't feel any difference between the suspension modes. Maybe very slightly less body roll going around corners in sport suspension mode as it likely stiffens up the shocks. The different steering modes definitely make a difference though. I generally prefer the extra assistance in the comfort steering mode. It gets quite heavy in sport steering mode. I switch between normal and comfort, but overall prefer comfort on and off road personally.
Can you keep it in quiet mode? For example I get up early in the morning and I dont to disturb neighbors. If I use remote start can I make it default to quiet?
Unfortunately, there is no way to keep it in quiet mode for a remote start. No matter what exhaust mode you shut it off in, it always starts in normal exhaust mode. If you are in the truck during a normal start, you can quickly switch it to quiet once it starts.
Baja sounds amazing! I don't think I will ever change off of Baja.
