Max start implementing scorpions long rage sweep... It'll slow em down more or make the jump more... Also your side switch mix game would improve from it
Mk1 is definitely an improvement over mk11. Some minor fixes i hope to see next game: 1. You need meter to have fun: No meter is no combo’s besides your string that pops. 2. Faster buttons: bc the delay it’s really hard to to react on the moment. 3. More Kameos: more fun

How likely do we think that the Expac for MK1 is going to give us at least two of the Cyber-Ninja's? Considering that Cyrax and Sektor are namedropped in the story and we see Sektor in Sub-Zero's Tower Ending? Oh, and for them to be ACTUALLY PLAYABLE THIS TIME.
We already know what characters are going to be in KP1. That being said, I don't really want to see the special ops and robot characters introduced to this canon in just a kombat pack. It'd be way cooler and do all of these characters more justice if they could have a story expansion to show how these versions of the characters came to be in Liu Kang's very different timeline. I want to say that's why they are in as Cameos at the moment, because there was no "correct" way to introduce them with the choice of story line they had for the main game.
As for how we get to Sektor and Cyrax, Sub-Zero's Arcade Tower ending literally shows Sektor working on the Cyber-Initiative. And both are namedropped in the Campaign as being loyal to Bi-Han.

Dude when i figured out he had an OTG i went off. And i ended up landing on scorpion as my kameo too. Super fun combos super stylish, super big damage, and to top it off that shao in the video wasnt even using axe buff
please try shujinku kameo its pretty fun and adds a lot of versatility to the matches since everyone gonna mostly be picking different characters....one of my strats with him is using shujinku as a shield when dealing wit zoners/spammers im guaranteed a hit without getting hit by a projectile
I don't wanna be that guy but I feel like scorpion's damage is so little, look at the combo max did, the amount of effort and resources it took vs the combo liu kang and the shao kahn did, so much more damage with less buttons pressed.
Ngl kuai liang as scorpion sucks. Not only that his move set this time around is also lackluster and not as cool as mk 11. Mk 11 scorpion had a diverse and unique movement that was probably the best imo, but in this game he seems kinda basic. Like they ran out of ideas or something. I dunno but i dont like scorpion in this game.

That's been a thing since NRS became NRS. It's just more common for something else to hit somebody during an animation, like a grab, in the single player modes they've done. MK9 had the tag battles which work the same, but pretty much every NRS single player will have some sort of projectile stage hazard that will just cause both players to pop if it connects while either player is doing a move with a preset animation.
I would recommend Cyrax as Scorpions kameo, you can use his hold kameo to convert into a combo after Scorpions back 3, hit them out of the air with back 2 into spear. Also you can use Cyrax to keep yourself safe if you want to end a combo in enhanced ground fire. Motaro is also a good assist for him as you can use his forward assist to turn Scirpions 1,2,2 into a safe 50/50, can’t combo off of it though but you can also use Motaro’s projectile cancel at full screen, like after a grab, to safely use Scorpions enhanced ground fire on certain characters. Stryker could also be good for 50/50 but combos with his grenades will be harder to find.
Shao with scorpion kameo can lead to some really stylish high damage combos, im happy to be a shao main this time around. My boi finally feels scary to be up against, has some nice long range pokes (2 and D4 are great) and his B2 has some crazy pushback and is nooch on block so its a good reset. Ive been having fun
The only thing that I would add to this game right now is a create your own combo trial mode in practice. I want to be able to look at a pro player max damage combo, then set it up in game and practice it for an hour or until I memorize it.
What’s y’all’s preference after playing the game for some time now? This or SF6? SF6 seems more polished to me, but I’m drawn to the craziness and customizability of this game …
SF6 is better and polished for the FGC hyper-competitive crowd. But I honestly just think MK1 is more fun to play because it's so wonky and crazy. The combos in MK1 just feel so good to land, its just fun. The number of cool and fun to play characters is more then SF6 imo. Plus MK1 is pretty as hell to look at. Both are really good games though.
Gotta say, talking shit about "Down 2" for the uppercut is kinda weak lol. Uppercut is the easiest big damage most new player use but it's also one of the biggest possible punish you can do. ALSO, using Uppercut is the worst punish to use as it can't be combo'ed into, therefore you're losing a shit ton of damage from using it. Sadly, I still use Uppercut myself as anti-air punish while a standing 1 punch leads to a 2/3 combo if you're good enough. Gotta fight muscle memory but yeah, as long as Uppercuts are used in a match, you know it's not a "elite player level", not talking about Pros here, just very good player don't use those 99% of the time.
That first match, that dude did not need to fatal blow that. You had no meter to break and he still had a bit of that Liu Kang combo left that would have killed you. Seems like overkill. Loving the Scorpion though I know you switched to Smoke.

Shaos always been a heavy hitter. His neutral sucks and has no good openers resulting in a whiff punish playstyle. It levels out
