I too like home food . I don't order food or go to any place to eat. I make just about everything at home what my son likes and myself. My hubby is no more and I am a senior citizen Indian from Mumbai 65 y ears. So happy to see your family and how Jessica has followed Indian culture admire her.

Dear Sohit,I am from Goa Border in Taluka Vengurla, District Sundhudurga,,all part of Kokan,including costal part of Maharashtra,Goa & Karnataka,Marathi language is spoken with different kokani accents which is called as Bankoti,Malvani,Goans Kokani & Karwari of North kanara & South kanara,all above spoken languages are originated from Marathi,however where coastal part of Sahyadri mountains ranges penetrates into Arebian Sea,right from Palghar of Maharashtra to Maglore in South Canara of Karnataka State includig Goa,this part of entire Natural region is actually called as "Kokan," in GEOGRAPHY, Naturally created by Sahyadri Mountain's lower ranges ,& in these coastal part of Kokan areas,all local habitates speaks,
kokani in different accents of original Matarthi language which had no independant scripts, of which spoken accents automatically chages at every 8 k.m.of distances slightly through out intire kokan area but after the Goa State was made Independant from the Portuguese regime (Vasai was already freed from Portuguese along with entire India and embodied in Maharashtra )proir to Goa's Independance and till it was declared as Independant State by Central Government,it was a Union territory & Late Dayanand Bandodkar, who was first Chief Minister of Goa &;his Maharashtravadi Gomantak Party's demands with the Central Government was that,this entire Kokan Region including Mumabi,Goa ,our costal part of Maharashtra, including Belgaum,Dharwad & Karwar be declared as "VISHAL Gomantak" on the basis of spoken Languagestic (Kokani) reason like other States of India,but because of verious political reasons,& inorder to please Christian community of Goa,whose demand was for Independant State with Independant Language as KOKANI it was not materialised,latter it was incorporated in Index of Indian Constitution as separate Language, which had no script,but is allowed to be written in Marathi -Devnagagi alphabets &-English-,Roman alphabets,comming to point if we on border speaks Malvani & Kokani fluently,& try to writes in Devanagari Marathi, even if you try to read & write Devnagari-Marathi books,which are in Devnagari Scripts like Kokani,itself you will be master in it...when we enter Goa ,speaks Kokani & all Goans enter in Costal part of Kokan speaks either Malvani or Marathi...I am also your subscriber & admires your passion for Hindu Culture,very much likes all your blogs,& wish you all the best for your entire Family ,Regards... Yes im Born and brought up in Salcete Goa. I took Konkani as a second language in school instead of Hindi . But I can read and write Hindi and Konkani. I understand Marathi and can speak little. We have family in kolhapur (my atya). And my maushi, mama lives in belgaum. We also have family in mangalore ,karwat etc. I’m die hard Hindu and Goan blood flowing in me and my kids. Thank you baba 🙏
