      The overarching theme is that a lot of fans want Ballard gone (rightly so), but they try to use every player he drafts as a scapegoat. These same people had huge criticisms for Nick Cross during preseason, and now he’s balling.

  • @1776_Reasons

    He's the same player on the field game after game, too. That's the problem. He needs to improve dramatically to maintain a roster spot another year. No team can withstand 43% completions over the course of a season.

  • @CoachClemons

    I think he'll develop but we need to give him time.. we are not a playoff team right now and that's okay we need to spend the rest of this year and next year trying to develop our young players then let's go get Manning if it doesn't work but we drafted a player with barely any experience knowing he was a project and after one season people are saying we need to move on and I don't get it he clearly has all the tools and has been getting better but just because we're losing right now does not mean we need to tear it down

      I agree with you people want instant success and that is NOT how the world works at times.Sometimes it takes a longer process for everything to work out.People in this age are so spoiled and want instant gratification,oh well it might be 2-3 years of losing seasons.Grow up.

      How much time do you think he needs until he improves. Can you give us a rough estimate? 1 year,3 reads, 5 years, 10 years or 20 years. I'm just curious how long you think he should get before you consider him a bust. Remember, he is still a freshman in high school because he hasn't played much.

    I wish that would translate to even remotely acceptable play on the field. No team, not even the 2000 Ravens, can overcome such horrible play from its quarterback. I get our team isn’t perfect, but none of the flaws of AR’s coaches and supporting cast can even begin to explain his historically bad inaccuracy.

    I like AR. I can see improvement in his game and expect more improvements to come. Whether the Colts improve after this season, I believe, hinges on what Chris Ballard and Jim Irsay do. Who knows what that will be? Let's lay the blame for this year squarely on Jim Irsay's shoulders! He is in control of Ballard and the choices he makes.

  • @jmas10
    @jmas10 4 дні тому

    Yes, Peyton's 1st year, he came in with way more college games played than AR. So, as a lifelong Colts fan, I'm willing to give him another year to show more improvement than he's shown this season, before I'm out on him. Gotta remember he's only 22 and with his athleticism, he could be a force to be reckoned with in the near future...as long as he improves year to year. But Ballard, he should be on the hot seat...along with the offensive n defensive coordinator. But we'll see! Go Colts!!!

After one year, we saw this project get benched basically due to a “lack of preparation”. How is that even possible as an nfl qb?? Colts have failed this kid in a couple of facets.
