- Kevin Kraut relates his experience with a man who may have been one of the Three Nephites mentioned in the Book of Mormon. He also tells an experience that his brother had of a man who had answered his prayer about going on an LDS mission that may have been the same person.
The Three Nephites were 3 of 12 apostles that Jesus had ordained after His resurrection here in the Americas. They were given the promise that they would not die until Christ returned in the Second Coming. Like John the Beloved, they continue to do God's work here in the Earth.

I had a cool experience when I was younger in Colorado. My family and my friends were all hanging out at a festival at Keystone ski resort. I was hanging out with my friends. My family was going on this little train tour around the ski resort. I here this crash and this lady walks up and says that the train with my family in it tipped over so me and my friends run over to try to help. And the train is right side up. My dad says he had been pinned under and my sisters leg was trapped and getting crushed. He tried to push the train cart up but it weighed way to much. Then he saw feet walk up behind and push the entire train back on it's wheels. I walked up and saw 3 guys wearing snow boarding gear walking off into the parking lot. As I ran up and looked to see where they were, I couldn't see them. My dad then asked the lady where those employees were. She said there wasn't any employees of the resort in the area. It was amazing. And it was a real testimony builder that they are still here.
haha the snowboarding 3 nephites. Nice story. Too bad none of the apostles can have a story like this. They would share it if they did.

I am an member of the same Church also an convert to. I always enjoyed reading about the 3Nephites that is still around. Right now I have an lite touch of covid. I work in an nursinghome. It would be neat for one of the Nephites to visit me in my time of need.
The question is, do you know which three by names?

Kevin i believe your story about your experience with one of the 3 Nephite disciples after all that is what they wanted to do is to keep ministering to God’s children until Jesus Christ returns, i hope you wrote this in your journal. I am watching from Auckland. NewZealand
I have been living with an older couple for over a year and the lady has 3 daughters and 1 son. One of her daughters ended up teaching a class in college to a bunch of returned missionaries and she met this college student who had slick, black hair (if I remember correctly) combed to the back. He shook her hand, complimenting her on what a great lesson she taught.
She never saw him again, but she just kept having this thought that she remembered who he really is, bringing back to mind a prayer she said, asking if she could meet one of the 3 Nephites.
Her husband also believes he might've met one of them. He was at his missionary homecoming, in the event where you would gather afterward having some food and whatnot. When most of his family and friends left, there was this man who was really tan, had the same exact hairdo such as his wife described, but had white hair, to what he described as someone being in their 90s.
He shook his hand, complimenting on his talk and mentioned that you will be a great missionary again someday. Next, he wanted his mom and dad to meet him and see if they know who this man was, but when he turned back around, he was gone. And he was sort of standing in the middle of big room, there is no way anyone could've ran out or have found a hiding place in the few seconds he walked to his parents and turning around.
Kevin looks so much like his dad! I have always appreciated how Ogden was so unassuming and approachable and took time to talk with me, one on one. I bought all the books I could from him and remember the one about the 3 Nephites. So glad to see family carrying on in his stead. Thank you, Kevin!
I know and believe all the words of these inspired men and women. I have studied and read and Prayed for the truth, and i know this has been brought to my knowledge with absolute clarity. It's Totally true.

These holy men of God will let you know of their identity without even having to say a single word...THATS how powerful they are. Also you wouldn't even recognize one if he were to walk past you
on the streets. I would be careful at who you all make quick judgement on because it might just be one of these that have been tarrying, performing the Lords work for a very long time.

That is awesome. I can believe it. Jesus Christ said, "Blessed is he who has seen and believe, and moreover blessed he who has not seen yet believe".
When I attended BYU several years ago my religion professor told us a story about the 3 Nephites. There was an investigator reading the book of Mormon at night in his room and he read the story of the three nephites. When he read about them remaining behind on earth, he said to himself "no way can this can be true". He closed the book, laid on the night stand and went to sleep.
That night he dreamt about the three Nephites. The next day his book of Mormon was opened on the same page he had closed it in, the three Nephites story. He got baptized and became a faithful member of the church.
I also heard another story at church during testimony meeting. This man he had been a missionary on the southern side of the Island of P.R
While on his mission, him and his companion went out of town and into the country side and it became late. They were afraid it would be dark before they found their way back into town.
Three men appeared unto them and told them how to get back to town. They were so worried and in such a hurry to get back, that it was not until they got back safely to town that they realized that three men they had just spoken with were not from this day and age. They then wondered if they had not just seen and spoken with the three Nephites.
Ooooooo! His BoM was opened to the very page! Wow dude, say no more! Must’ve been them.

I had a strange experience with a guy in salt lake city, very similar description, and I have always felt that he was very likely one of the 3 nephites as well.

Hey, if you want to know who he's talking about, read The Book Of Mormon. F.Y.I It's called The Book Of Mormon because Mormon is a guy in it that gathered records and put it to The Gold Plates, then Moroni berried them, then the prophet Joseph Smith found translated it after 2000 years, and he made it a book, and called it The Book of Mormon. P.S We don't worship a guy named Mormon, we just started to be called a Mormon. P.P.S Our real name is The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints.
Is that why they put the spirit Moroni on all the Temples?

Is always wise to follow the counsel in D&C: Offer your hand, if it is a spirit, will not come close to you, and will not extend his hand. If it is a resurrected ministering angel, one will feel his hand. If when he extends his hand, one doesn't feel it, then is from the kingdom of darkness, no matter how shine, and beautiful the person is.
Those who have had true experiences from the celestial realm, know the difference between the Glory of God, and a clone glory.
Zion City of God. D&C 29 should be followed when someone is getting a weird message. I don't' think people need to do that with a message like be a good missionary or doing something that is clearly taught by God through His prophets.

@trevor anderson Absolutely it is. Every truth, every doctrine, we all know, is like the onion w/many layers. We share the basics, the rest, the profound, is left to be sought by the seeker. Even prophets live silent, that which pertains for a seeker to be received by personal revelation, for his own benefit, and not for the Church. The President of the Church is the only one, that receives revelation for the whole Church.
Your advise pertains to how to determine wether you're speaking with a good or bad spiritual entity or a physical person. And a physical person, which could either be a living mortal or a resurrected immortal. Both of those will pocess tangible hands.
The three Nephites were promised not to taste death until the Savior should come again, so they remain alive and as tangible as you or I.
So Joseph Smith's advise doesn't really apply here, since the three Nephites remain just living folks. I'm not even sure if they have abilities to suddenly disappear, since they are not disembodied spirits?
We have no clear-cut method to identify such a person. You might as well assume some homeless person is really one of the immortal Nephites. How would we ever know?

I had a similar experience my car had broke down me and my wife was in might have been 8:00 or 9:00 at night not sure this was a while ago and I pray that somehow we get some help off the side of the road nothing was around cars nothing desolate and soon as we said a prayer three men got out of what looked like a tow truck but it wasn't anything that stood out it just looked like he was a half made up looking truck with a wrecker on it anyway they three got out they didn't say a word they told us to a service station and dropped us off and they just left

Thanks for the stories. I've been looking into this kind of thing and it was wonderful to hear a first and second hand account of encounters. Any stories about glowing eyes? What about eye color?
He said the man's eyes were blue but he didn't say anything about glowing eyes.

@@jaredalton5732 I totally agree with you. I do NOT believe he saw one of the Nephites, or any other Heavenly being. As if these 4 men have nothing better to do then tend to this guys family. For one, they are extremely busy with the Lost Tribes, which in time will be coming back to Zion, and I believe they are preparing them to do so.
They may be commanded to appear at times for serious reasons that Christ feels needed tended too, but this frivolousness I hear and read from other comments is just wrong.

They were several Nephites who were translated. Then we have the City of Enoch, City of Salem, and more. Now, if someone knows their name, they have been visited.

First, they are called the three disciples, not nephites. During the time of their ministry they weren’t called nephites or lamanites but the people of Christ. They didn’t start calling themselves -ites until the people started falling away again after Christ’s coming.
The scriptures in 3 nephi 3:27-28 also say that the gentiles and Jews shall know them not.
And the 3 nephites are still around (no thinking) because the scriptures teach they will remain on the earth until Christ comes again (3 nephites 28:7-8).

Actually, Joseph Smith was as flawed as David or Solomon. Why do we try to put him on a pedestal when the Bible says that there are none who are good, no not one. I am a convert who has engaged in critical Biblical studies for a very long time. It disturbs me that when I talk to some mormons on social media, any reference to the Bible gets deleted, and only references to the BoM are left. This is very sad.
Joseph Smith was human, he was a good man with flaws.
I believe that when we have sacred experiences that are personal they should remain personal. On UA-cam you have no idea who is listening, you might be casting pearls before swine. Sacred and personal for you and your family.

"Adam-God" is not a thing, by the way. It's a blatant misinterpretation of shorthand writing that people use to try to make LDS people who are unaware look foolish. There are plenty of apologetic writings that will clarify this for you. Of course it's good to pray, but there answer is already given.

Since people believe in angels: Michael/Gabriel. The 3 Nephite's are not out of the realm of possibility. God' sends messengers to all his people.

I ve never seen or heard of any story of the 3 Nephites anywhere other than Utah or Colorado. U guys must need more help there than the rest of us. I lived in Oregon all my life and never heard of this there . I believe I am as worthy as most temple recommend holders but these stories only seem to happen in Utah. I recently moved to Arizona. Maybe I'm now "in the right zone". I'll let u know..........

I do not know never heard about in any LDS church.
I am on the books as a member of the LDS church, but that is not important to me. More vital to me is that I am an Abrahamic Religionist, and study everything from present day religions of the Abrahamic bent back to before Judaism. What I recently found from before religions in the world is frightening and disillusioning; chilling me to the depths of my soul. It is hard, if not impossible to sort out the truth from the landslide of heresy I'm exposed to.
You keep saying "My dad." Who is this person who is your dad. I'm afraid I don't know of any leader with the last name Kraut. I haven't seen that name in church history either.
We fought and beat the krauts in world war two. I guess there are still a few of them around.
I was once mistaken for one of the Three Nephites. It took me years to reverse that mistake! Haha

There's words and phrases that you use throughout the retelling of your story that honestly cause me to question its validity. Additionally, the story you're telling is choppy and lacking actual explanation of situations. As much as I'd like to believe, it doesn't seem credible and perhaps you've created a "big fish" type of experience.

Please explain to that God told the Adam God was true then later the president of the your church said he had a revelation from God that the Adam God was false thus said the lord in both revelations the Book of Mormon is false and has many mistakes in it .
