Standing ankle deep in Loch Lubnaig is never a trial. Lovely shots, and I agree about the underexposure; shadow adds structure to a scene. So much of landscape photography is just about patience, sometimes it carries over from one year to the next until the conditions are right.

You never fail to impress John with your perciverence and instructive videos, not to forget the haunting music to go along with it, Your underexposed vision paid off in the end, as the final images proved this, it is such a wonderful area and we can't deny the passing visitor the oportunity to stop and view the scenery we take forgranted. The lesson I think is true in the proverb........the early bird catches the worm, but in your case it was catches the best photos.....before the crowd's arrive. Great video, splendid photos and looking forward to the next chapter. Thanks John.
Beautiful location again John. Really liked the under exposed shots giving the dramatic burst of light. When I'm out hillwalking in Scotland I could sit and watch the light and shadows chase each other across the hillsides all day. Lovely stuff. :-)
Great shots as always. It's definitely a challenge for us amateurs to find those great shots amongst overcast conditions. This shows how much patience/timing is involved in waiting for the lighting to be just right, and how much skill goes into picking the compositions. The results speak for themselves!
