I've just been watching Group-B Audi Quattro rally cars. Mmmmmmm... This little beast would be perfect as a town runabout. WAY better than my darn bicycle, which is a total misery to ride - especially after it's been loaded with 50lbs of groceries and is being pelted with rain and hail. (I'm in the north of England.) But I bet this neat little EV will cost thousands or TENS of thousands of ££££s. My crummy old bike only cost £35. THAT'S my idea of cheap transport. Sigh... So keep pedalling, Elli! :-)
This will be a cheaper and warmer solution but u got to import it yourself. There used to be a dealer for them in the uk too not sure if they still got them ua-cam.com/video/Rj7y5uvEYhA/v-deo.html
Are you going to get a video of the titan zero r5 up soon? Will you have a hard top convertable version of the r5 (like a jeep)? Would be like being at Legoland all year round.
These are not telsas, you have right to repair with these ones, and theyre super simple in design, sure, not everyone will be able or willing to try to remove 4 bolts and remove a super lightweight motor, they they put about as much effort into open a can of ravioli in the amount of effort required to remove a few bolts. The main concern s being able to change a tire or filling the tires with that new stuff in a can that turns it into a foam filled tire that never goes flat, or the cheaper stuff used to repair a flat for shorter term use, there is different grades of that type of product. Charging the batteries so they dont drain if not being used is another concern. Solar solutions are ideal, should be the roofing panel for these to just keep the cells from going buggered up and reducing range. You could always change the batteries in this way easier than a tesla etc, and theres newer types of batteries, one is super cheap and is based on common sodium/salt.
@@truetech4158 Only took 2 years to reply..l have only had to repair a rear view mirror holder. A little Bondic glue easily fixed it. On the R5 zero, everything is mostly plastic, but the parts that are not are prone to rust in damp climates. You will have to be proactive there. The car is really low to the ground to stop it from flipping, so not recommended in deeper snow or water filled streets. Other than that, you should get 120km in the summer and 80km in the winter with newer batteries on a single charge. The speed is either 30km or 45km an hour in Europe, but switching out the electric motor gets you between 80 and 90km an hour. Cops won't like that so just saying... but you will have to upgrade breaks to survive stopping at that speed. Newer versions can be bought with a solar panel on roof, and in colder climates, the diesel heater is a plus but you lose the little trunk. The real name of the car is a Jonway URBEE not to be confused, but very close to the ZAP urbee..The R5 zero is the Swedish name for the car.
Hi! I want ask you just one big question! Please tell me when I charging my Eidola, just same like yours on this video, may I disconnect red button or not? Emergency button I mean!?Thank you for answer!
3 months have gone by, you could've had it being delivered to your door today, if the process involved 3 months to ship to your door. Haha, i want to get one of these too and stop paying auto insurance, and my honda car needs repairs that i dont want to invest in, i might sell the honda and grab one of these sort of things, its all i need for grocery runs etc.

Charge it at work and let the boss pay for it :p It says 80 öre per mile.... so one charge shouldn't cost more than 8kr - 10kr (10km per charge). But you have the same problem I have. Do I run a power cord out the apartment window? If we are going to have electric "cars" they will have to rethink apartment parking.
@@mox44 You can buy it direct from china, but if it is like Sweden, after import tax, sales tax, getting it home from the port it arrives at, any local vehicle inspection charges and any type of local DMV registration charges.... buying it from the dealer is a lot less of a headache... oh and shipping charges too.
@@mox44 Sweden lets me but lots of taxes and red tape. Some of the Chinese vehicles are already EU approved. Also in Sweden the 30km an hour vehicles do not get license plate so no Motor Vehicle registration... they count as a class 2 moped.

Hur är det att köra en sån i 25? Kan bara tänka mig att det är rätt läskigt i trafiken och att köerna blir långa. Hur klarar den sluttningar?
