The flag-raising ceremony still gives me chills whenever I visit. Spend the money and visit the inside of the fort - worth every penny. Another great time to visit the fort is for Defender's Day (a weekend-long celebration in mid-September) as the weather is usually a bit more clement - the actual battle/bombardment of Baltimore and Fort McHenry is celebrated. Another chill-producing moment, especially for Marylanders who are quite proud of our history. Well done on the reading, Jon - you are quite the natural.
