    When it comes to the T dosage... I had problems with my dose too, but I've stayed in touch with the GenderCare nurse since the beginning of starting T, really. My GP is a bit useless, sadly. So all the blood tests I sent to the GC nurse. She replied within the same day and told me what should or shouldn't be done. I also saw her last month. It was going to be for my T shot, but my dose had changed before I went there. So maybe consider keeping in touch with GenderCare? The nurse doesn't seem to have a problem with me contacting her and I said I'll be sending my new blood tests to her.

      Thanks for the advice dude. I'm with CX now though so I dont know if I can contact Gendercare as I"m not longer paying for care with them?m

      TheSamThatIAm Damn. Probably not. But at least you're with CX now, so they'll fix everything!

    Hey, I was wondering which appointments you had with Gendercare specifically for HRT before they prescribed you hormones?

    • @TheSamThatIAm
      @TheSamThatIAm  6 років тому

      I went with Dr Lorimer at Gendercare and he is no longer accepting new patients so I'm not sure how it would work with any of the other doctors. But basically I had blood tests done before the appointment, I went to see Dr Lorimer who made his diagnosis and passed on my bloods to Dr Seal and then they set me a letter with a prescription. You do have to have an appointment booked with Dr Seal in order to get this bridging prescription. Pretty simple really.

    Sam first of happy one year!! - CAN YOU HELP? I’ve seen dr Lorimer and I have had my first round of routine blood tests & also another set of bloods during the “shark week” I’m not sure if they are routine or not? Did you have these? If so what was the next step? & how hard was it to find a pharmacy that gets the testosterone in for you?
    Please comment to reply or DM me on Instagram @ukpitbullz_ I’d be so great full for the help I’m so stressed 🤔
    - I’m Cairon from Swansea btw ✌🏻 great vids

      Hi Cairon! Thank you. I didnt have that done but its something to do with prolactin and I know some people have had to do theirs twice. I just sent them all off to Lorimer and then you get sent your T letter and first prescription. I have found the best pharmacy to be Tesco. They usually get it by the next day for me.

      TheSamThatIAm thank you so much! Oh great I’ll definitely try Tesco’s then. And that’s great looks like I’m only a letter away then! Fingers crossed 🤞🏻🌈💉

    Hello so I was wondering. Does being on T effect any medication you are on If you need to.. let’s say for an example you have an infection. When u take your antibiotics would u need to stop talking T or is it fine to still be on T? Only asking because I’m starting T and I I’m on medication for an infection.. not sure if both is a bad combo or if it’s fine...

    • @TheSamThatIAm
      @TheSamThatIAm  6 років тому +2

      Hello! I'm not a doctor so I'm not 100% sure but on a general note itll be fine. Things like antibiotics wont be an issue. The only things likely to give you an issue are some more complex medications that may have hormones in them and I know that you need to look out for herbal remedies too. Hope this helps and good luck starting T :)
