Watching aot and also living in germany feels like a privilege 😭 idk if you already knew this but shiganshina is actually also inspired by a german city (Nördlingen)

how is the songs as a german? I only know a few german words so i don't really pick up on any mistakes in the pronounciation. How is the singers' pronounciation, is it still a banger as a german or does it diminish it somewhat?
@@TheMonkeysavl goosebumps when u realise its actually german what they tried to sing. Its ofc not perfect, but that gives the touch to it. And all the Names and Buildings are 100% similar, i got old houses around me like these in shiganshina. I just feel after i watched AoT, that im there lmao.

Btw ost don't play only at one certain scene but during many scenes ( ofc some are remembered for certain scenes for example 2nd singer is during Erwin charge at the beast titan and 3rd singer is Reiner and Bertholt betrayal on the wall s2ep6). Sometimes they rework them for examples only instrumental etc
Yh that makes sense, we usually remember the ones in big scenes

The first ost was played in the scene where Jean fought the female titan + when the rumbling appears in the marley for the first time
The sec ost was played when Erwin sacrificed for his life :(
The third was played when Rainer and Berthold turned into titans
The fourth when armin and eren meets jean and conny
The fifth was played when berthold transform in season3

The old man is either his father,Bertholdt became a warrior just to give him a better life,or that man he and the other warriors met after the breach in Wall Maria,who told them his story and then killed himself.

AOT has the best original soundtracks man... Sawano deciding to do them in german made so much sense as well. He does the same thing on other animes as well, so not entirely has to do with the themes of the anime. But if you listen to the lyrics... well whole another story.
