Whenever I need help with homework I watch you. If you were my math teacher I would love math and have an A+
Glad my videos are helping you William!
Not the hero we deserved, but the hero we needed.
Great little video. Very clear, Mario. Very helpful!
You don’t know how thankful i am. I finally found a right way to draw parallel lines. Other youtuber just uses 2 tool not a compass thereon. Thank you so much.
I was looking for video to trisect a line, after couple of not so clear, stumbled upon this clear one. Wondered how this video is good. Then found, no surprise, I stumbled in Mario's math channel😃😃😃😃
Welcome to the channel! Glad my video helped you!
I LOVE this!
So simple and yet ...
Here's a challenge for you.
I'm sure there is a similar technique ... but it's baking my noodle!
Take a norman arch, then draw two more inside it allong the same baseline giving you three areas.
Now, I want to draw a circle in that kite-like shape at the top, so it EXACTLY fits, touching all the lines, if that makes sense?
You are a really good teacher. Thank you.
Thanks so much, my textbook left me completely confused, and other videos, but I found this and it's immediately as clear as day!
Glad my video helped you Megan!
Thanku so much....i was so confused and u cleared all my doubts!!
I love u sm rn man. U can’t imagine
Helpful thank you Mario
Thank you! You’ve helped my daughter a lot!
Irina, Glad to hear my videos are helping your daughter!
Last Minute cramming!! Helped me a lot!!
Thank you.
Thank u sir.I am really grateful to you.
Thx Mr. Mario. Got a test tomorrow and this really helped out.
i was stuck in a math for this problem.u helped me to continue.thanks a lot😗😗😗
Thanks man I am from India love you
Very nice method, quick and precise, have been using it every time for half a year now!
Great to hear!
Thank you
Your video is very helpful sir💖.
I am from Bangladesh,, Take love sir💖
Thank you for solving my doubts
Hi. How would I go about dividing a cube into three equal and identical pieces? Is there a way to do that with a compass and protractor?
thanks!
Ty
Thankyou sir 😀
Thank you so much sir, this helped a lot because I forgot how to this basic thing a few hours before my test. I really appreciate you putting this out here
Glad it helped!
Thank you sir..
We'll explained..
(India)
What angle do u take at first and with what measurement do u take the arcs?
Thank u
Why does it work though? Another video said that they used Thales Theorem to do it so I researched Thales theorem and it looks somewhat similar but all it was about was diameter, point on circumference, etc. etc. but I’m still wondering why does it work? Or what process makes this work?
Thanks. Love from India ❤️
thank tou
Had a hard time understanding what was done after you say "OK we're going to copy this angle here"....finally I did, and...success! (Suggestion: maybe try holding the compass in a way that doesn't obscure the drawing as much).
It is very helpful. 😁
I like this video.✌👍
Glad my video helped you Chowswe!
Thanks you so muchhhhhhh it helped a lottttt but can you insert the measurements for dividing please please please but thanks again it helpeddd a lottttttt thank you so much❤❤🎉🎉😊
Can you do that without compass ?
Niceeeeee
Glad you liked the video!
In the whole you tube only you have provided how to divide a line segment into trisection.
I don't understand it from the point where you drew the second set of three arcs.
Amazing, I used protractor to measure angles, but that gives lesser precision. 🙈
Glad you liked the video Nawal!
@@MariosMathTutoring Thank you, really it was nice, I loved geometry in school, now I came to know how and why it actually works.
Copy what angle ?
exactly this video is BS. you cant get accurate angles with compass.
@@tajnay1111 lmao ikr! My teacher is shit so I had to get help from youtube. What year you in?
@@tajnay1111 Just because you don't understand something doesn't make it BS.
Hmmmm. It is quite logic, and beautiful at the same time. It is no doubt, that we want paralell lines isn't it?? Ok. And what is the easiest way to fix that? Copy an angle and copy and copy, that will fix it and guaranteed, that we have paralell lines. 🙂🙂🙂🙂
Don't let this guy fool you. If you measure his drawing the first line of the new congruent section is longer than the other two. You cant get accurate angles from a compass. You need a protactor.
doesn't work
I appreciate the effort but for me you left out an important part or at least I think its important. What angle were you using and why are you talking so fast? I notice that math teachers usually speak fast in a subject that requires high concentration for the one that is learning. Never understood that.
He shows exactly what he is doing.
your lack of sharp pencil tips worries me
not explained well
Thank you
You’re welcome!
