Arpeggios! Learning the arpeggio shapes are a great way to break away from playing straight pentatonic, and you can follow or ‘play’ the chords with your lead playing. Mixing these with the blues scale or minor pentatonic work great in blues like this which use dominant 7 chords (C7 F7 & G7). I have another bunch of backing tracks coming, but don’t have any tutorials on the horizon. There are heaps of great ones on UA-cam though. @coreycongilio has got some good ones. ua-cam.com/video/PpBN9hqBKnI/v-deo.html Thanks for watching!! I’m waiting for your next video with a ripping lead 🤘🎸
Ive read alot of the comments bitchin about the video. If you listen to the words it makes more sense, hes outside a old style camper , jammin to an old record player, smoking a cigar. Getting stoned doesn't have to mean gettin blowed away with a bong or smokin a bag of reefer. Can be stoned on smoke and country music. Its a saying. The whole vid looks kinda 50s 60 ish.... maybe even some 70s with his flamingos situation going. Lotta routes to take on a video for that song, they picked that, not my thing but the song is badass
love it
Lots of fun
Thanks alot 🤘
Love it. Can you tell me more about what you mean by a "Dominant 7th approach"? Any tutorials forthcoming? ;)
