I'm a keyboard player who doubles on guitar. Why do I mention? Just as E (& sometimes A) is sort of a "native" or Go To key for guitar players? C is often home to piano players. I'll skip details. But THIS has value for me to jam over on guitar. I'm visualizing running around up & down "C Street" ... It's a good visual whatever your instrument, say a lotta great Jazz artists. The piano keyboard is music Theory, scales & chord construction ILLUSTRATED! - Thanks!!
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it. Here’s another track I just released that is similar in the key of E you might like playing over. Blues Shuffle in E - Guitar Backing Track Jam - Medium Fast Tempo ua-cam.com/video/ZdeGVGg5J_4/v-deo.html
Hello. Im looking to use this also for tenor sax. What scales did you use? Im learning A (fcg#). Is this a correct backing track for my instrument. Learning too.
@@paulalovescats12 Tenor sax is Bb right? So I THINK you would have to play in D for this backing track since it is in concert C. D Minor or Major Blues would be best. So D Major Blues is D, E, F ,F# A B. D Minor Blues is D, F, G, Ab, A, C. If you want to play in A. I think that would work over a G Blues backing track. Here's one I made ua-cam.com/video/QYciHcIcGno/v-deo.html Would also use A Major and Minor Blues over it. A major blues is A, B, C, C#, E, F#. A Minor Blues is A, C, D, Eb, E, G. I hope this helps you!

👍
Thank you!
anyone else thinking just don't a B? everything else kinda works no?
Replace it with a Bb and you're good!
sorry i forgot a word in there, i meant to say
Just dont play a B
everything else sounds right i just dont know why
B is great over the G chord man
I figured out the g chord by finding the one that b sounds good over haha
I like using the B as an enclosure note/leading tone to the C, but also using the Bb within the same line
