This was your best video of all time. You were genuine and authentic and your information was just great. Keep doing more like this with the two of you. Stay safe and enjoy making memories together. ❤
Nice van guys and great walk around. We also have an 18ft and didn’t want a bigger van either. Agree with the sliding en-suite door, you can get light weight Concertina bifold doors which is a far better option. I really like the Black Smith Tyre bag!🍷😁
Thanks for the walk through and overview of the van. We will definately be checking Trail out for our new van after all your positive comments. We use the microwave to store our wraps, bread etc and then when used mainly to defrost or warm up food or steam vegetables Looking forward to following your adventures and stay safe 👍
Thankyou for the walk through of your new van. Richard is preparing a quote for me on the same model as yours with a few of our preferences. I will keep an eye out for your future videos. Maybe we will catch up sometime. Cheers.
Our van is only 16 foot, exactly the same layout of yours… SUV GR16 …this is our first van…thanks for the tips etc, did not know about dimmer capabilities of the reading lights! I paused the video to run out to our van to check! Brilliant! We don’t have a washing machine and very little storage in our en-suite but have the fusion loc shelves… and like you nothing has ever fallen out during travel. We also have no glass/crockery in our van. No need, too heavy. Bagnums for the wine as well. Now we are thinking of removing our sliding door as well!
Great video & Like the tips about the drawers opening fully ,the washing machine insert ,custom made mattress from Makin mattress things add to the list when going up grade from camper trailer to a Caravan
Haven’t finished watching yet but we have a new van and did exactly the same with the fridge door overloaded and it opened. Thanks for the tips. Great can by the way 👍
Great episode. So many things I was like “I’ve got them” or we’ve done that. I use washing sheets. They are great for taking overseas too. Gotta love the baskets. They just keep stuff contained hey. I think I want to put shelves in my wardrobe. I’m using a hanger thingy but I’m not loving it.
Thanks so much for walk through of your van and providing some tips and tricks. I was not aware that the lights over your bed can dim, we have a similar van with same light so can’t wait to see if ours do it also. I also had not idea what the washing machine insert was for but now I do. Can you please let me know where you got your dish drying mat from. Really enjoyed your video, safe travels 😊
@gooddifferentadventures thanks for your reply, is the other mat you have in your kitchen for drying dishes on also from Bunnings or Kmart. Much appreciated 😊
So nice to have a new van...Hoping it all goes well...Have you thought about using detergent sheets for the washing machine...I use the Lucent-Globe brand...the box weighs about 50grams and does 30+ washes...they just drop in with the clothes and it's grey water safe. Love my soda stream too...saves so much money.
Thanks for watching! We are loving our new van and it's great to hear your tips, we have also used the sheets and will be getting them again such a great idea for vanlife ! Safe travels hope to see you next episode 🤩
Just watched your caravan reveal. We didn’t need convincing on how fabulous Trail Caravans are - our Platinum 17ft trail will be ready to pick up later this month😊But loved your tips & tricks. I wanted to ask where you got the thingy you unravelled to put over your kitchen sink? Great idea! Thank you 😊
We have had our Trail/Oz off road van now for 10 months done a 15500klm tripto Western Australia and back plus some smaller trips We love our van we went from a 22 foot to the same as yours 18`-6``far better and no more wasted space Inside we have single beds I converted the hanging space to half hanging and half shelves our crockery and cutlery goes into the top drawer we moved the microwave to the overhead cupboard above the sink so when we take out something from the microwave we can put it on the sink because we are both tall the frig was lifted up to the ceiling allowing for a cupboard under were Iam thinking of put a diesel heater in The shower door has full length mirror in it Trail are always up dating if new ideas The one big thing I like about Trail as long as you don't ask for very expensive variations things like extra shelves and moving things around the van are at no extra cost The other thing is the best backup service you can get

Like your set up Been watching your show for some time now, keep up the info. IF only I could get my wife to do it, we have the car L300 just need a van and the Trail looks the go
Amanda your drawer organisation is immaculate! Its just me but I dont understand the not needing the microwave thing.......dont you ever need to heat up leftovers for dinner/cook veg or mash potato, defrost meat etc? I also do porridge....one bowl, alot less mess.We use ours alot.
Thanks for watching 🤩 I try to keep the van tidy, I guess the microwave is a personal thing to remove we honestly don’t use it other than storage. I generally reheat on the gas or most of the time no left overs🫣hope to see you next episode!
Where is the spirit level fitted on the van or alternatively do you have a portable spirit level you use? Where do you keep your caps as they appear to keep their shape? We have a washing machine built into the wall.
Love the size of the van just the right size for Digger to tow but this is just me I would have 2 spare wheels but I would go for something like your van 👍👍
i Just have a shower curtain for bathroom door, with just the same black hooks 🪝 you have to hand your towels up, to hook up the shower Curtain, and ìt helps stop the light coming ìn from the shower skylight
Great Video I'm looking to upgrade have a 2012 caravan wanting a 17.6 single axle of course. Have you mentioned the cost of your van at any point or are you keeping that to yourself which would be far enough?
Thank you so much for watching, we are loving the van 100% ! We haven’t mentioned any prices however, Trail would be able to help keep in your budget I’m sure 👍
Mr and Mrs B who do you contact for your trail caravan because we would like to get in touch with them for some advice and parts eg extra water tanks thanks
Hi guys Thanks for watching, attached are the details tell them you follow us and they will put you in the right direction 🤩 Sales@trailrv.com.au 0401 226 485
Why do you need independent suspension for off roading. Here in South Africa, most offroad caravans use leaf springs they are far more reliable and easier to make a plan in an emergency. Leaf spring gives less body roll on highway so far more stable at higher speed freeway driving.
I’m from Canada….what does the “do not overtake” sign mean? Please……if it means that people cant pass you on the hiway……it’s not a legal thing in Canada….most often campers are going a slower pace than regular traffic,so when it is safe to pass we pass.
If you read the full sign it Says....Do Not Overtake Turning Vehicle... So if you see the blinkers flashing the driver may not see you while he's turning or backing and he has the right of way
