I still haven’t figured out how the A10 (late) has fewer weapon options than the standard A model.
The GBU-8s were phased out by the time the late came around. Not sure if it was ever fitted with the GAU/4 either.
@@ryanfreeman5083 The late and early term in War Thunder are just a way for gaijin to make money off of the Early version now if we were talking about the A10C it would be different
@@Keyoog Im pretty sure gaijins "philosophy" is for premium vehicles to be experimental, either entirely or an experimental version of what then later goes on to be a production model. And for a fair amount of more "modern" (1970 and up) vehicles, early was a designation used for prototype versions of vehicles/planes. So the reason some of the early arent that different from the late versions in game is because thats how the irl variants turned out. In this case the difference was ir capabilities for the mavericks agm. That being said gaijin is a money grubbing company and have no bounds to their greed, and i agree a lot of the "early" variants are basically the exact same as their tech tree counterparts.
It really is just a way to differentiate early and late weapon options for the same plane, the A-10A never had any upgrade big enough to separate "early" and "late" production models.
To be fair, I'm pretty sure the 20mm gunpods were phased out with the F-4 Phantom in the 80s, but not that sure about the GBU-8s. There are pictures from the 80s of A-10As with GBU-8s, so it really depends on what you call "Late". Also, there is no reason not to give it later versions of the GBU-8, or the GBU-15, just like there is no reason to give the "Early" just 2 AIM-9s. Just a quick cashgrab for Gaijin.

Hi hunter. What keys do you use for the zoom in helis like the Tigers to get a nice smooth transition. The mouse wheel takes too long and can't get the sensitivity up and using the zoom axis means when you go back to 3rd person you're really close in again.
You always seem to be able to step zoom in increments which is much more useful. Thanks again for the content
Hello .. I was using mouse wheel in all videos but they ruined zoom in/out recently so I'm just using the usual zoom button.
@@Hunter_i86 thanks for the reply buddy. Okay I'll have to keep investigating then. I'm getting by using some mouse macros but it's not ideal. Would be great if they added the option to cycle through multiple zoom levels on machines that have extensive zoom levels.

Hey Hunter, have ubtried helis after the update? I feel like they are kind of slow.
And I can't spool up the missiles on F-4J, it always show "No self homing missiles" when I press the lock on button. F-4E, F-5E are fine.
and the last I can't lock the F-14's with Aim-9J on F-5E lmao. I could lock on F-4J and killed it but I changed to 2 of the F-14's and couldn't get a lock.
Usually the first day of any major update comes with cool new things but also with chaos of bugs and unnecessary changes, I already reported two things in the CCs discord. Let's hope they fix the bad things fast.

This whole video was about Maverick D .. I feel it is smoother than B when it comes to lock on targets, your problem I guess is not the missile my friend, you get close to the battle and get shot down by SAM, try to stay far and play patiently .. two kills and survive is better than 4 kills and die.
hunter how do you remove the lock from the TV missiles/bombs that are already locked?
"Lock Guided Bombs" & "Lock Weapon (Air To Ground)" buttons to cancel the lock on if it wasn't good enough.

Hey hunter, have you noticed that laser guided weapons have been completely borked ever since the update? For example, the jag gr1as laser pod isn't working correctly. It has a completely incorrect screen and no more thermals.
I tested it after your comment, only the UK Jaguar I think, because I tested MiG-27 and French Jaguar and they sound normal, but for the British one it is a disastrous change, no more thermal .. zoom in\out is very weak and also nothing at the center of the sight to use it for aim! They massacred my favorite Jaguar :(

@@Hunter_i86 from what I've seen, it's a completely unintentional bug. I'm sure it'll be fixed (hopefully) soon. It kinda sucks cause the gr1a is the best CAS that Britain has.

Usual binds that go for thermal vision does not do thing for it, like few months back its was fine and worked for me but jumped recently again to have fun on good old a 10 late and in day time thermal just does not turn on as it use to be for some reason, does they change it and its now only night time? or i missing some specific bind that for it? or i don't even know what else can be wrong but it's just does not seem to work for me right now cause in this video i can clearly see you using thermals here in day time and its fine and video is recent too like wtf what's going on how to fix it any ideas?

How do you get the TV view to move at a normal speed? I have to drag my mouse off my desk like 8 times to view the ground.
Press the zoom button and you will get a nice boost in sensitivity lol.
