Than you so much for all you do to help us budding authors. I am presently trying to do the final steps to get my first Children's book to KDP to publish. I know in one of your videos, you stated that putting page numbers on children's books is not necessary and you do not recommend it. My daughter is helping me with the process and she has published over a dozen romantic novels on KDP and she said they require page numbers. I looked on the KDP site and could find no reference to this. I am at a standstill till I can find this out. I know you have published many children's books and a few months ago I had another question you were kind enough to answer. Can you please answer this quarry also? Does KDP require page numbers on the books for children? You are my HERO.

Can you please do videos about how to post our books on Amazon and what to do when they print the book in a lower quality than requested? I have received my book from Amazon three times in lower printing quality than requested and I don’t know what to do.

Hi @littlemoxie7334! I actually have a step by step walk-through in my How To book (www.eevijones.com/book). And regarding the printing quality, KDP currently only has one color option for us children's authors for any book below 72 pages, and that is the premium-color-interior-with-white-paper option. That is currently the highest quality they offer. So if your illustrations look pixelated, make sure your illustrations (1) have been prepared with at least 300 DPI, and (2) are the correct size, so you won't have to resize them, because both of these will decrease the quality of each image. I have a couple of videos specifically on the sizing, so I hope those help!
@@EeviJones first I’d like to thank you so much for answering my question! I will watch your video and continue following you 💕 I do have another question please. The problem I had with Amazon is that they send me a book with pages that are very thin and look like they are matte and not glossy even though I asked for premium color etc. the DPI and size of the illustrations is fine but the quality and thickness of the actual paper and print is too thin and really poor. What can I do? We keep asking for premium and we’re getting inferior product. The color of the cover is washed out and looks nothing like the sharp and bright colors we sent to them. We requested another copy and got the same thing. Please help I don’t know what to do? Thank you so much I really appreciate your guidance 🙏🏼💞
