That’s because modern tropical astrology gets many things wrong about tropical astrology but if you research traditional tropical astrology which is around as ancient as Vedic then you see what I mean. Also Vedic isn’t the same thing as sidereal. It uses nakshatras very differently and your signs generally stay the same. It is simply calculated without a birth time due to there not being access to clocks and sundials in ancient India during that time. Sidereal is deep but so is traditional tropical astrology and they both give the same answers and each has certain details you only find in one and that’s what makes all 3 great and also Chinese astrology

What I’ve found is sidereal and tropical say the same things but in different ways. For example - As a scorpio, most of the libran energy you described (funny, travel, articulation, charisma, etc) attributes to the sag rising in my tropical which also aligns with how you described the sidereal sag. In my sidereal chart, I’m also a Scorpio rising, so it never changed just turned the dial, looked through a different lens (and essentially realized the same thing). As a tropical sag rising, it’s also said that they’re likely tall athletic (I’m 6’ and played basketball through college lol). Even when sidereal describes my future spouse, it describes the same traits, physical appearance and where I’d likely meet him as it does in my tropical chart. For clarity - this (rather unnecessarily long) analysis came directly from my tropical Virgo moon😂

If you follow traditional tropical astrologers you will see the same thing. Also Vedic isn’t the same as sidereal. In sidereal they calculate chart using birth time and try to replicate the actual positions of the zodiac in ASTRONOMY and use the nakshatras differently. In Vedic your chart is calculated in person without a birth time and the nakshatras are used very very differently. they are the same thing because they all give the same answer 😊

My best friend is also tropical Leo --> sidereal Cancer and I am tropical Virgo --> sidereal Leo, and I do think that the Cancer traits fit him better and the Leo traits fit me better.

You notice in sidereal it gives 1st house definition to 2nd house because most people’s tropical 1st house become their second. once again I like many features of my sidereal eg some of my signs stay the same and I love most of my new house placements but then I can get same definitions from tropical eg dominant planet and mk planet or 7th house ruler aspects and dk planet nakshatra. Both the same but sidereal struggles with how welcoming it is in my opinion

If you switch to sidereal you see that your sign is divided in nakshatras meaning if you are a Taurus in sidereal another sidereal Taurus will have a different definition. also if she is saying things like Sagittarius are known to be blunt because they are ruled by mars then what does that mean about tropical Scorpio who switched from being ruled from aggressive mars to peaceful Venus? How do you even change from that? she needed to specify the sepcifc nakshatras and clarify all systems are valid. this was my I stopped following her years ago. I just can’t deal with people not getting what astrology is

This is confusing because what about the people whose placements stay the same like I do? also a Scorpio in sidereal are still divided by nakshatras in sidereal and each planet means its specific thing so this is general no? Also your 12th house placements describe themes of your personality in traditional tropical no? So either way sidereal or tropical you relate. Also most people’s rising sign in tropical change to their second house hence sidereal astrologers also say 2nd house is your face, lips etc. however I do like their use of nakshatras compared to Vedic astrologers and I love most of my new house placements. I am a late degree Gemini in tropical so I am still a Gemini rising but my tropical transit predictions are more accurate but both chart I resonate with

Sidereal and Vedic astrology aren’t the same thing. Vedic is more ancient and due to not having access to sundials or clocks during that time Vedic astrologers could calculate your chart in person while looking at you and getting to know you. And used their own mythology and used nakshatras VERY differently than sidereal. sidereal is the one that started using time and also created its own definitions of each sign and used nakshatras in a different way to just get the same answers as Ancient tropical astrolohy. all 3 are accurate but the new modern astrology isnt accurate

If you switch to sidereal you see that your sign is divided in nakshatras meaning if you are a Taurus in sidereal another sidereal Taurus will have a different definition. also if she is saying things like Sagittarius are known to be blunt because they are ruled by mars then what does that mean about tropical Scorpio who switched from being ruled from aggressive mars to peaceful Venus? How do you even change from that? she needed to specify the sepcifc nakshatras and clarify all systems are valid. this was my I stopped following her years ago. I just can’t deal with people not getting what astrology is

Because modern tropical astrology doesn’t get the signs descriptions right but traditional tropical does. Also the signs don’t mean and planets and houses often differ from tropical to sidereal. They aren’t the same. They are different but co exist and I get what she is trying to do but it isn’t helpful to the astrology community

This is confusing because what about the people whose placements stay the same like I do? also a Scorpio in sidereal are still divided by nakshatras in sidereal and each planet means its specific thing so this is general no? Also your 12th house placements describe themes of your personality in traditional tropical no? So either way sidereal or tropical you relate. Also most people’s rising sign in tropical change to their second house hence sidereal astrologers also say 2nd house is your face, lips etc. however I do like their use of nakshatras compared to Vedic astrologers and I love most of my new house placements. I am a late degree Gemini in tropical so I am still a Gemini rising but my tropical transit predictions are more accurate but both chart I resonate with

Vedic never worked for me.
Vedic and sidereal are actually not the same. In sidereal the definitions are different and they use nakshatras differently to create a more waffle to get the same answer as a lot of TRADITIONAL tropical astrologers. in sidereal the signs, planets and the houses have different definitions. also it tends to fall apart in a few places when talking about tropical astrology placements in late degrees

Eg a celebrity has their 7th house ruler of spouse conjunct the sun while in sidereal they have their dk planet in uttara ashadha nakshatra. Still the same thing because that is a sun ruled nakshatra. Or when someone still has a stellium in their chart of the same sign but in different planets. they all tell the same thing

Sidereal/Vedic astrology is more accurate.
Sidereal and Vedic astrology aren’t the same thing. Vedic is more ancient and due to not having access to sundials or clocks during that time Vedic astrologers could calculate your chart in person while looking at you and getting to know you. And used their own mythology and used nakshatras VERY differently than sidereal. sidereal is the one that started using time and also created its own definitions of each sign and used nakshatras in a different way to just get the same answers as Ancient tropical astrolohy. all 3 are accurate but the new modern astrology isnt accurate

Sidereal astrologers use the overlaps with Vedic to make their astrology seem like the original when it isn’t as ancient as traditional tropical astrology or Vedic astrology but it is still accurate.

Sidereal/ Vedic Astrology is more accurate. I’m a Leo in Sidereal/ Vedic Astrology and Virgo in Tropical Astrology. I say I’m a Leo Sun.
Sidereal isn’t even the same thing as Vedic. Vedic astrologers didn’t have access to sundials or clocks so they calculated your birth chart in person and used nakshatras very differently. So your sign stays the same but sidereal in its attempt to match science astronomy constellations completely changed the study to create more waffle to tell the same story. traditional astrology works very accurate for me as well as sidereal. I haven’t gone too deep into Vedic though but I have lightly researched Chinese astrology as well. but I would give slight edge to tropical astrology(not modern one though) because it is more ancient than sidereal and more easier (relatively) to get into

The reason why the moon became very important in Vedic is because they had no access to sundials. sidereal uses western traditional AND modern (mostly modern western) astrology so it isn’t as reliable. You most likely thing Venus is exalted in the 12th house because you think Pisces rules the 12th house

Sidereal is WAY OFF when it comes to personality/psychology of a person I’m sorry, especially tropical Scorpio becoming sidereal Libra - I just don’t see it. I’m a tropical scorpio moon and I become a sidereal libra moon, I’m not relationship oriented at all, I’ve been single most of my life, I prefer being alone and distant from people, not social at all. It doesn’t resonate.
