    Just picked up a Vista Smart plus, really impressed so far - excellent discrimination, target separation and depth. Nice audio tones - great value for money and almost forgot to mention the pinpoint is very accurate

    Love mine, Vista Smart +, Vista machines really are top of the tree, Deep, Fast and Precise Discrimination, and a big plus really easy to use and light weight.

    I'm looking for a metal detector that can go up to 3m depth. Target size as big as a chest full of gold coins. What's your recommended model? cheers

    Happy owner of a Vista gold , the old one ..
    Personally i fell for it because of the abrupt tones ..
    Once used on fields or wherever .. i found out it was indeed a real pleasure to use.
    Simple , fast , and reliable
    Te depth is more or less the same as the tejon in my experience
    So nothing left to complain..
    Ok maybee one thing ,
    There is just a small disc circuit on it ( the gold ) that barely can disc out a regular pulltab .. it takes time to get used to that , you can however very precisely disc out small iron and foil .. ( small foil )
    Next to that , the tones give plenty information about the precencse of junk , or a good target most of the time ..
    Swinging this sturdy bit lightweight machine is really comfortable ..
    Headphones , especially cheaper ones ( sorry 😬) give christal clear audio on the deeptech Vista gold ..
    I used expensive ones and it and it was giving way to less nuances ..
    While my 50 dollar lightweight ones gave very clear signals ..
    A mistery for me but so be it .
    Happy so far , still learning the machine as i always used and still use tesoro,s
    Thanks dor sharing this video Mr

    I just bought second hand a Vista Gould. I'm normaly a Tesoro guy but i'm very curious about the performance of these deeptech detectors compared to the Tesoro's i own.? I'm only a little affaid that the discrimination does not run high enough for bottle caps and other garbage . Is it true that you only can discrimate maximum small pieces of foil and nothing above that like bottle caps and beaver tails?

    r u a dealer for these machines ,they look quite impressive as to there ability's, probably going to by something before summer,was thinking gold bug 2, but now i don't know, [watched a few vids on these] Can u tell me where these are made, how big a company are they ,what about warranty and how they stand behind product. Are these water proof like the garrets or maybe just the coil, can u get smaller sniper coil for small gold, Kinda new to detecting only know the bigger mainstream outfits thx very much hope to read reply

    Hi Ziggy....great review, even if its a couple of years old.
    My problem is though...for uk pasture and plow... I'm torn between going simple and choosing a Deeptech or a Rutus Alter 71, though a bit more of an involved machine. I know you have done great reviews on both, but what would you say are the pros and cons of the two in comparison......totally torn..;0)

    Wish the GB pot was a 3 1/4 like the Tesoros. Afraid it would go crazy high and low in my Virginia soil.

    Zig, I have a Smart. the 11x7 coil is not as deep as my mates Explorer. is the Pitbull coil a worthwhile purchase?

    • @ziggyjinx
      @ziggyjinx  7 років тому +1

      I will do a video showing the difference ok..... the coil is more stable and has more depth in my findings

      What year. Sounds like some GB problems.

    • @manormouse1410
      @manormouse1410 7 років тому

      not sure of year as I bought 2nd hand with 2 coils. 11"x8" and 14".
      I`m struggling to understand the signals of this machine. I never know if it`s a good signal next to iron, or larger iron giving a good signal as well as the iron tone. so I`m diggin a lot of iron at the moment

    • @omnitron
      @omnitron 7 років тому

      Headphones. Try it first. This is two tone. Clear repeatable dig it. Unclear check 90 degrees for signal change. Is not easy firs time. Lift your coil and use few more tricks.

    • @ziggyjinx
      @ziggyjinx  7 років тому +1

      +phil lavender Hello Phil, as Michal said keep to the good tones them and avoid 50/50 signals... Once you've got this part nailed down then start going for more awkward signals.
      I will be doing a video in a few weeks digging all iffy signals that may help you ok 👍

    I had a Vista smart 2/3 year ago one of the first ones . No good in the n/e UK as it loved hot rocks . No way could you id them tried every thing . Had it 2 weeks and sold it . Might be ok down south . Unless they have improved to get rid of hot rocks/coke . Canny review Ziggy as normal . Can you not get hold of a NEW Nokta Impact and give it a good work out . As it looks an interesting Machine . Cheers Dave

      Hello David..... The Vista Sprite has hot rock rejection button that works a treat, it's also is able to distinguish between hot rocks and hammered or other small good targets.
      As with all companies they have different machines for different uses buddy.
      But for Coke infested fields the Sprite is the best choice 👍
