A bit of expansion in bridging/routing/firewalling would be really helpfull to lay down the foreground and structualize the basics before getting deeper. Your video it's great stuff which helped me a lot with setting up my network layer in home lab, which is mkt based. Thank you for all your efforts. ps Great idea with Patronite !
Hi. Thank you for the video. I have a slight issue. I have 2 x hap ac2's. My main router I am using as. Pppoe router and it works great. My second router I set up asa bridge and include all the interfaces incl the wifi to the bridge. Internet routes as expected through the ethernet interfaces but not theough the wifi ob the second router? How can the internrt fron router 1 be bridged through the ethernet between the routers and theough the wifi on router 2? Am i missing something?
Love & appreciate the videos you're making! Thanks for that :) Btw. do you have a discord community or something similar? If not, it might be a good idea to create one (imo)
In my understanding if you use captive Portal(voucher) you can bridges ether1 & ether2 and plug in AP on both port then the hotspot will be directed to the hotspot webpage? Thank you Berg.
As far as I'm aware HW Offloading is enabled by default on interfaces when adding them to the bridge. I also prefer showcasing the tech instead of showcasing a block diagram, I have allocated myself a limited amount of time when creating these videos and this would add an unrequired amount of time :( Though I know a few people enjoy being more in-depth when it comes to things like that, especially the firewall block diagram :P so for them I will add a link in the description to the MikroTik TOC regarding bridges so thanks for your suggestion!
Thanks man, haha I made it myself one afternoon after watching a video from Joel Haver and I just thought it suited me better ;D Here's the video in question ua-cam.com/video/tq_KOmXyVDo/v-deo.html

super!!

Should go over HW enabling and some of the mikrotik Router block diagrams, because throughput will be heavily decided by that...
