Your silky voice against the beautiful aquascapes you design are all I need to motivate me in my fish keeping. Thank you for your wonderfully informative and inspiring videos.
Finally, the scape video is here. The tank looks great, and Marmalade seems happy. I also really like the combination of plants, except for the Limnophelia. It may be a super fast grower, but it just takes too many nutrients away from the other plants, Rotala will be much better, that was a good idea. Personally, I like the look of Rotala better anyway. I’m looking forward to following the progress of this tank!
Totally agree mate, as good as Limnophila is for natural purification, I think Rotala Rotundifolia is just an all round better plant for this type of tank.
Yet again, a great video, my second tank that I'm preparing will be my first aquascape for a Betta, I have just bought the all pond solutions 400 filter too, I'll be modifying my filter likei always do.
@GlassBoxDiaries never had a hang on back filter before. I really wanted to try one out it's just not ready to use yet, building my hardscape and have plants in a container for cycling to see how they do, keep up your videos, absolutely love them.
My heavy planted 6.6 gal tank NEVER tested with any ammonia, nitrite nor nitrate, and I used a little Tim's ammonia and Fritz 7 initially...now 6 weeks in still testing zero, so it doesn't always happen. My test params are perfect, no death to any plant nor fish/shrimp! Fritz 7 is the hero! Love your tank.

Cheers mate, they are solid little filters, especially for their price :)

Is this the tank with the new compact heater? That was a good tip too.
Yea mate, switched the Fluval T50 out for the Hygger Nano heater, so much smaller.
How come you didn't make a video on setting up your white cloud minnow tank? Or did i miss it?
Its on my list for next month mate :)
I'm surprised to acclimate a shipped fish with the tank lights on.
I'm not sure how much it matters to be honest.
