I live in Dallas and went in to pay Saturday and saw the closing sign. I had no idea. I have gotten many items from Conns.

In Central PA, there are Hardware Stores called Cole's Hardware... there are a bunch of locations... the HQ in Danville started in 1885, I believe... and it's extremely old... but it's a great small chain of hardware stores... There are also Ace Hardware Stores and plenty of Tractor Supply Co. Stores in Central PA as well

I would like to hear the history about Moe's Southwest Grill... their food is excellent... Also, there are some interesting relics of the past I'd like to hear the history about (like Hills and Ames department stores)... Steak 'N Shake... our version of In & Out here on the East Coast is Five Guys Burgers & Fries... I also remember going to the King of Prussia Mall 12-13 years... when my school chrous class was in the Dunkin' Donuts Thanksgiving Day Parade up in Philadelphia, we used to go the night before Thanksgiving. The food court was great... there was a Nintendo Wii U Kiosk set up for the Christmas season... there was a LEGO Store and a Build-a-Bear Workshop... it's still *very big*

Have you looked at the very short-lived Mr. HOW Warehouse (HOW = Home Owners Warehouse) stores in Cincinnati in the 80s? They were owned by the Zimmermans of Service Merchandise where I was a manager. We helped train their employees and set up their systems. They had baskets of cricket clickers (little tin toys that clicked loud when you flexed them) and the idea was that you would pick one up as you entered the store and would click it if you needed assistance. Needless to say, EVERYONE was clicking them including kids. The floor sales and information people were on skates. Cool, but not practical. If I remember correctly, Mr. HOW died within a year or so. There were 4 of them that opened at the same time around Cincinnati. Love your channel. God bless! Jim

I had never heard of the place until people started talking about them going bankrupt.

I’m pretty sure this store is going out of business. What’s insane is that in Georgia we literally had a Conns open at Arbor Place mall in early 2023 so it’s insane only a year later it will possibly close. Another big store has fallen
