Seriously cool! Thanks so much for sharing. It never even occurred to me that you could do this! I wonder how my 27 would handle it...not quite the glide of the 25! :) Great video.
Very nice control during the turn! I never saw a bit of wavering, even after he entered final. This maneuver is probably against regs, but it sure looks fun.
great aeroplane.. very heavy wing sections.. have a flat bit on the top of my head from supporting the tips while the other guy fiddles with the control connections.
Yess! ASH 25 57:1 glide ratio ))..At CNVV St-Auban, we can " les penitents" mountains in the back ground I had the chance to fly an ASH 25 in Vinon gliding club recently
I'm guessing that the pilot had done many similar 360's with a roll angle like that with plenty of altitude to see when a tip stall would start. He was coming in hot at the start of the turn and seemed to keep his speed well up but I bet he was watching his airspeed instruments VERY closely!.
I don't fly yet, but as a youtube "expert"... this is very impressive, but I imagine it's highly frowned upon. His final turn to land was seriously slow, I was waiting to see a tip stall and drop.

wow.great video. crazy, the pilot had great piloting skills and a high performance sailplane.
The pilot seemed totally in control at all times and knew exactly what he was doing.
Holy crap, this is really the craziest glider low pass ever man!
exceptional pilot skills. I would not dare to do that...

Funny how the camera starts shaking as soon as the glider touches down , some massive items in the cockpit made the earth shake i guess ......
👍😆🐨 left aileron was stuck. nice sight . Keith Australia
Very cool video... but what happened to the cameraman at the end ? Heart attack ?
Inctedibleow pass! Very nice! I fly in Rieti (LIQN) Italy. 👍

What?
@@cloudstreets1396 You wouldn't be worried about a tip stall?
@@justtowatch111 at just over 1.0g and 100kts I’d say there is zero chance of stalling.
What? Am I the only one that saw the person with a hair drier running along underneath the glider?
That was so cool!
Never seen one before.
Only the awesome ASH25!!!!!!!!!! great shot dude!!!!
Now, that’s a pilot!
Needs new gap seals or something
Textbook approach
That is just beautiful..
Stunning?... Yes!
Talented?... Definitely!
Crazy?... not so sure.

Reckless flying without any rules
next time shot video until stop action and dont shake camera and cut off ;)
Pilots who can’t resist showing off, often find themselves dead.
