Martine en Rinke

In the lives of married couple Martine Letterie and Rinke Smedinga, the war is present every day. Martine's grandfather was murdered in Neuengamme concentration camp. Rinke's father was a convinced Nazi: NSB member, attended SS training, was a guard at Camp Westerbork and joined the Ordnungspolizei of the German army at the end of the war.
