Great job on the plasti dipping the mirrors. I really like the camo on your jetta. I just bought a 2016 white jetta as well and would like to try it but unfortunately I'm in outside sales and I have to keep it conservative looking

Dude, those headlights were super easy to install. You just need a couple basic tools and less than an hour of time. I say go for it!

This place in Long Island NY quoted $585 for black gloss vinyl roof,spoiler and mirrors. I drive a 16 jetta sport.
To me that’s a lot to pay for something that’s not performance related.
Love the car!!!! I have owned a few Beetles back in the days. My Father owned a Scirocco in the late 70's. Uncle owned Jetta when they first came out. Point is, we are in need of a car of a 2nd car, and guess what, passing the neighbor down the street pulling his white 2012 jetta out and put a for sale sign on it. Not having a lot of money, I didn't even stop. My wife saw it about an hour later and stopped, not knowing what it was, and asked how much? 4,000. Has a 100,000 miles very clean all maintenance up to date by the book. Hail damage was the reason it was priced that low, not that bad though. The point is, I would like to increase the torque and HP the The best and and most reasonable way. 2.5 SE in line 5, no turbo 170 HP 6 speed auto. Pretty fast already. Any good advice from an expert??
That sounds like a great deal 👍🏼 I’m no expert but when it comes to this stuff. So far, I have added a cold air intake and got an APR tune. Nothing too crazy so far. I received the highest power increase with my tune but I think that’s because it’s turbocharged.
