With our current technology, my suggestion is to design a chair that includes gyroscopes, and can climb stairs. I've seen demonstrations of these cool chairs in the past but I don't see any in Los Angeles. We need to develop an affordable chair with a narrow footprint that can run on two wheels, and rise up to normal height. Just my 2 cents. I've used lots of EW over 40 odd years and I'm yet to find a joystick controller that's is calibrated so as to allow the the correct movements via the motors ,power while turning ! Even more annoying is the machines going left and right when needing to reverse through a narrow passage or door due to the camber they all use via the front forks ! Tell me do any of the technicians / designers use a wheelchair as looking at this one its just universal parts from a parts shop bar the paneled work
I thought the 1036 model was equipped with an elevating seat. If so, the only comparable model in the US was the recently discontinued Ev-Rider P13 Vision (imported from Heartway, Taiwan). An alternative might be the "Jazzy air", a straight wheelchair with unreliable sensors and six wheels, not well suited for outdoor use. The 1036 model seems well suited for outdoor use (rear-wheel drive, large wheels) and offers 75ah batteries instead of 50ah, which allows to switch to a LifePo4 battery if needed. It reminds me of the European Invacare Storm 3-lift model, probably the best wheelchair sold in Europe in the last 20 years. So, is there any chance of this model being exported to the US? I would buy one. I am desperately looking for a model in this category. This type of wheelchair is exactly the best for improving independence, thanks to its versatility and seat elevator (offering flat-free tires would be a big plus).

Nice product, but can it go up and down sharp slopes like in hilly areas. Elderly face trouble moving in hilly areas and this can be a great option provided it can handle slopes, most importantly coming down, safety very important.
