Fantastic, Lee! Thanks a lot! 😃 I still didn't build my first rc airplane... It was difficult because of the construction here. Now that my space is almost ready (it only needs glasses on the windows and a protector - I don't know the correct name in English - for the stairs), I'm already planning it. 😃 Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
thank's! amazing the opentx software, no more radio programing, all in the PC. usefull! (i'm a new open tx guy..) and thank's for all yours videos on the ardupilot subject, soooooo usefull tooooo!!!! :)
I wouldn't recommend doing it in mixes I would do it in inputs. That way if you want to mix aileron with rudder for instance you can mix an adjustable aileron input rather than having to choose which of the aileron mixes to use
Hi, I've been trying to use this alongside up elevator (on input tab, elevator, max -30) that I use on a switch for launching, and although it works I have no elevator control when it's engaged. I can't see anyway of doing it as inputs only allows one switch. I'm thinking logical switches, but I can't work out the logic
Quick request I know your a busy man! what about a thorough review of any of the new Archer series receivers from FrSky? like the new M+ these are available now everywhere but no-one is doing any full reviews on them setup f-port and the like I have a few of these and so far great no problems with range but would like to see more info on how to get the telemetry working on them etc. The new ota replacement for the rxsr is due anytime as is many others. As you probably already know the M+ is the replacement for the XM-Plus apparently. At a ridiculous cheap price these new M+ RX sort the spi tinyhawk type models problems out by using the new Access protocol no need to stick to D8 in the small stuff anymore! (which is illegal anyway! allegedly!) .
hey painless, do you have a tip to instantaneously turn on the qx7 ? it used to be the case in the original firmware. now we have to press the button for 3 seconds to turn it on.
Good afternoon. I'm having issues with the trim adjustments on some of my models being backwards. As in Up trim actually makes the plane go down. Etc.. Any suggestions on how to correct this? (using a Qx7) Thank you so much!
The only time I've seen that was when the pilot had set up negative values in the inputs page to reverse the direction. Always reverse the direction in the Mixer or Outputs tabs on the radio. Never do that in the inputs page, if you do the trims will appear backwards... I hope that helps...
back to the bible here.. Not finding an answer right off - I need to set up unequal endpoints for dual rates Soecifically, on high rates ailerons up deflection 40 degrees down 35. on low rates 15 degrees both up and down. how to be able to adjust the travel for unequal endpoints? Am I clear?!? Also- do you set up D/R in Inputs or Mixer? Thought I saw you use Inputs in another vid but here you use Mixer.

very helpful it's like learning french- male or female?
Loved It!
thanks a great help
Can you setup opentx to show number of flights of a model?

If I want expo on all 3 positions of the switch, do I have to add it on each line or just on the first line. I guess on all 3 lines?

not related to this vid, can I fit a f405 wing + 1500 4s lipo in AR Wing 600mm?
It would be a tight fit. See my Omnibus/AR Mini Wing build...
@@Painless360 Thanks I'll check that... What's your lipo recommendation for Ar wing 600mm?
I fly with a 3s 1300mAh pack. Lasts for well over 25 mins..
@@Painless360 omg 25 mins!, thanks anyway

I think I already answered this one.. ?
@@Painless360 yes I thought this got lost its a dupe cuz I'm a dope on this media stuff
so glad for your help!
You would adjust the rates as described above but to get unequal throws set an offset
@@richardlong3615 thx! think I might actually understand that- awesome fix
@@Painless360 I might be in a time tunnel- the header shows released an hour ago but I commented last week- scary
