I've bitten the bullet and ordered a tx16s, I will be trawling your open tx videos to learn what the hell to do lol. Brilliant video as always. Stay safe.
very nice tips! I use those 6 buttons to manage my timer. 1 for timer ready. 2 to play remaining timer. 3 for timer reset. 4,5,6 set timer to 1,2,3 munites.
Been using this for a while now but my use case is different. In FPV team racing where you race for a long period of time and have many quads ready, you can power on all quads and set in your FC software (Betaflight in my case) to failsafe and disable VTX unless the correct model number on the 6 position is selected. There is also a manual VTX disable on a switch when you aren't flying or you crash and need to quickly disable as the buttons are harder to distinguish than a big switch. :) Hopefully that makes some sense...haven't finished coffee yet. Inav modes is another good one to use them as someone else mentioned.
Thank you I have just taken and split the play value of two things off of switch H and put them on O6P1 and O6P6 on a large glider and now can get only the info I want
Great demo, i have a few models that need binding every time i switch on, is there any way of assigning a logical switch to bind without having to scroll through the menue to keep binding, thanks, love your vids as always, Regards., Nick.
If you are using the Multiprorocol module then check out the Tips and Tricks video on it where that is covered.. ua-cam.com/video/Nii4ElEbg6s/v-deo.html
I've had this working perfectly in Edge TX, then after 1 year, the push buttons are acting weird. 1 - ok 2 - stays on position 1 3 - goes to position 2 4 - stays on position 2 5 - goes to position 3 6 - stays in position 3 What on earth is going on here? Can someone help please?
@@Painless360 Thank you Lee. Someone suggested a recalibration , including pushing each button in turn. That solved the problem. I just don't know why it would lose calibration. It was working fine until recently. Basically buttons 1 and 2 outputted -100, buttons 3 and 4 outputted 0, and buttons 5 and 6 outputted +100. Very strange, but all is good now.
Having come from Spektrum Tx's, I'm continually amazed at how much more powerful OpenTx is. Thanks for another great tip.
Parabéns. A 3 anos que uso os seus vídeos para tirar duvidas e aprender sempre algo novo.
Grande abraço da Suíça.

How do you set one of the 6 position switch as a timer reset...thats what I'm wanting to do
@@Deathwish_fpv in special functions in each model. Or globel functions in the system setting.

Really, really interesting! Thanks a lot, Lee! 😃
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
I use it to control throttle speed in idle up 2, 60%-85% for OMP M1. Also threw in voice callouts with the %.
Another excellent demo! Thank you.

Great tip! Thank you.
I use it in Inav for my flight modes, because are so many.
Thank you
Great info!
What were they thinking when they came up with that shape for the buttons lol

@@Painless360 thanks very much will check it out!
👍👍👍
Can you use the 6 position switches on the tx16s as a timer reset button.. just curious
You can use them the same as any other control on the radio. Happy flying!
How would one go about using the 6POS to change models and not just changes within a model?
I'm not aware of any way to do it. If you figure it out please let me know... Best of luck
👏👏👏...👍

In EdgeTX, the 6pos control is a lot easier to use in mixes. I.e. 6P1, 6P2 etc..

How exactly did you fix this? I'm having the same issue and can't get it resolved!@@raptr49
Can you set them up to use as model select buttons?
👍👀🇭🇷
