Funny enough, that "dribble" is actually part of a system which was intended to prevent infinite combos,so yeah, the infinite combo antisystem made infinite combos possible
I am a programmer,i kinda can explain how this system work but i'm not sure if it's correct,so anybody who has more knowledge, feel free to correct me.From my knowledge, arcade games are written in assembly(some maybe in c/c++,not sure, the ideea is that arcade hardware has memory limitation and you need a programming language that let's you manage memory entirely)a language that i don't know how to use(if someone manage to find it translated in a high level language like c/c++,i would understand it). The ideea is that the longer the combo gets, the greater the pushback gets and harder the enemy will hit the ground to the point where you need to be extremely fast to hit at the right time, but it will become impossible because you will get pushed back too far away. My guessing is that the key to cheat trough this system is dependent on the pushback. In case you noticed,if you manage to land a certain combo, the pushback get reduced a lot. Probably the pushback stacks multiplicatively and the game use some predefined values for pushback, you will notice that ground and air pushback are not the same, pushback in air combos is lesser than pushback produced in ground combos. At some point in the combo, the pushback get reduced greatly and from what i tested,it happens only if you land some air hits/combo.I tried to do the dribble thing without sending the enemy in air,but i couldn't(i used cheats to get infinite boost, also,i'm not a good player, maybe someone managed to do it). Also, the height and pushback don't seem to be really dependent on each other, you can manage to increase the height of enemy bounce, but the pushback is reduced
@@doarunomintrecere8594 essentially correct. The system was to make the person in the combo to hit the floor faster, however there was no knock down programmed in; so they just keep bouncing back up hence the dribble.

2AxN > 2B > c.C > C+D > 6 > 2C > air dash > j.B+E > j.214D(+E depending on distance) There is a LOT of possible routes to go for Raoh's Sai Loop, this is the most basic one.
This route specifically is usually done after the first wall combo. So it will usually be after something like 2A 2A 2B fD CD6 cC 2C IAD jB sai > 2A xN (about to 18 hits) into the combo you posted The hit count matters a lot for Raoh cause it messes with the pushback off CD6 combos. This HAS to be done with infinite boost turned OFF otherwise the part after the side swap won’t work. In real matches, if you have too much boost on the side swap, you can do different enders. Let me know if you want a video example, I can record it with the swiftness. Additionally, if anyone has any questions about Raoh or the game I can probably answer them

Chinatown Fair had one of these cabinets a long time ago. I remembering getting an imported version of this game on my PS2. A lot of fun, but can be annoying to learn. They should remaster this game and fix some of these mechanics.
"is not broken if everyone can do it" - perfect balance
damn good content, I appriciate how even if you arent the expert we see just the cream of the crop high level stuff anyway.
This is easily the best thing I've seen all day. Thanks so much. Don't get hit!
My favorite anime manga and anime this games godlike
The first time I saw a "basketball combo" like at 9:57 I nearly pissed my pants from laughter ahahah. How do you react when you get hit by that XD ?
I loooove this game, been following it since the mid 2000’s
aaah I was wondering how they started streaming on your twitch sometimes, like with Bas' channel. Makes sense. And it also rules as does this video! woooo
I’d definitely be here for the Raoh combo challenge. Genuinely interested in how hard that combo is
Now this is a fair game🤣 especially combos remind me of the anime
bro everyone in this game is fucking insane, the players have to just be laughing it up and cracking jokes when the other person drops the combos
Love this game.
It so nasty!
Thanks for showing this game love JWong! Bring more!
I would like to see the hands as these combos are being done. How many buttons is this game?

The energy of this game truly fits the series 😂
This game has combos like a DBZ to show. I like when you do the destroy move the music changes.
This game is the answer to "how messed up is messed up?"
This is some sick expert gameplay!!! 😃
HNK combo trials coming?
Fist blew my mind as a kid.
Love this game, only fcked around with it against bots but its easily my favourite HnK game. I have no clue how to do these combos tho
Perfectly balanced... as all games should be (c)
I frikkin love watching this game
Back in 2008-ish, I tried learning the Raoh combo (on pcsx2). Of course I'm in no way have godlike execution like these players, but it's surprisingly quite doable until about 25 - 30% damage. And it's very fun to do the combo!
"Youre only good as your last game - ....oooooh....."
LMAO
