I think the reason why Wander Over Yonder and Kid Cosmic are generally more positive is because of how Craig takes time off to evaluate himself so he can make the characters flawed, but also inspirational. I mean, there was a 4 year gap between the end of Foster's and the start of Wander, and then a 5 year gap between the end of Wander and the start of Kid. I think that helped in making the shows more consistently solid since he was able to think more about what works and what doesn't. Consider how he started working on Foster's right after he finished PPG. Plus, this was back in the 2000s, where mean spirited humor was generally more accepted, compared to now, where people are more quick to judge about when it works and when it doesn't.
I think in terms of Nickelodeon for the hour or more category, Danny phantom “The Ultimate Enemy” would have been one of the best picks. I consider that special to be one of the best things in Nickelodeon animation history.
I skipped the actual episode about Dragon's World bc it's always painful to me how un-into those things y'all are, but I will just make ONE point about it here before skipping the segment about it in this episode, but: the dragon mating dive is based off the REAL way that bald eagles will lock talons and spiral down in the air for their mating ritual. It's not something made up from nowhere. You can find videos of it very easily. ((Also imo there are WAY more bad faith/intentionally misleading mockumentaries in Animal Planet's recent history. The DVD itself for Dragon's World doesn't try to pretend it's anything other than a speculative showcase by a then-cutting edge effects studio. Save the hate for the heckin mermaid "documentary" that played heavily into being a conspiracy by the Navy or something absurd like that.)) Love the Award Show Audit, still finishing up these last few episodes. It's nothing personal and I agree that docu-series still shouldn't be put into an award nomination pool alongside the works of cartoon creators just because they both use animation. That in and of itself is the cause for all this. I don't hold disliking them against y'all.

I hope you're doing well, Pie.
