This store was much needed and I'm glad that residents will benefit from its arrival. I visited one located off MLK Hwy. The vegetables were fresh and the prices were fair. I was impressed. I'm sure this store will thrive in this community.
I live in Ward 7 and I'm THRILLED to have this Lidl in my neighborhood. I visited this store on Wed and I love it. They even tell you ahead of time when lines are closing. Thurs, I went to the Safeway across the street and they weren't as crowded which I was happy about also. Thank you for your video!
Let’s hope the community don’t bring the store down let’s pay for our groceries so that it won’t be closed down like the Walmart by Union Station I’m not being negative I lived in Southwest Southeast and Northwest I know what it is and what going down in these neighborhoods that’s why I’m saying this if you want to live in a great community EVERYONE needs to do their part 🙏🏾
As a native washingtonian i’m happy with the new stores especially in Southeast on the Anacostia side where majority of the blacks live with very little food resources healthy foods at that, it’s a step in the right direction for #SE

I live four blocks away from the Columbia Heights location. Much needed as I don’t have a car anymore. For SE I hope this will benefit the area.

Hope we don’t burn it down when we mad at the police. It’s is a lot of investment that will attract more business.
