Well, if they were the same brand, type and 30 year old rounds, it would be some circumstantial evidence, but apparently they weren't. If they choose to indict him, they'll have no physical evidence, no direct witnesses, only old rumors and his own recorded statements. If he lawyers up and has the funds to go to trial, and he does have lawyers, Vegas might be spending a fortune on an unwinnable case.

From what I can find online, accessory to murder likely has a 5 year statute of limitations in Vegas. Murder, Acts of Terrorism, and Sexual Assault under certain circumstances are the only crimes w/o a SOL. It really depends on how the state law is written and if it allows him to be charged w/ murder w/o being the actual gunman. Given that Keffe is the only survivor from the Caddy they gotta find smthn to prove otherwise.

Tupacs case isn’t federal or close in Vegas. Vegas can still prosecute anyone for that crime unless they themselves make the agreement to take a confession or proffer. Biggies case was investigated by a federal task force but not 2pac.
