here is the real connection. Soul sand is trapped souls in sand, maybe for the wither. Skulk spreads to new blocks when things die on it because the soul of that mob is trapped somewhere. When skulk grows/spreads it will make other skulk related blocks & with the help of player made sounds can summon the warden. Meaning u can legit no mods get the warden to spawn from one block of skulk.

One day a piglin stepped on the soul sand releasing souls, which one of them were warden314 and hid inside blocks growing into the warden.
