Daaamn
That doesn't even look to be his limit. Had speed to spare in the clean
Wow stronk
David Rigert as a light 90 Kg lifter Clean & Jerked 212.5 Kg in 1976 at age 29. The kid is younger for sure but that is not a heck of a lot of progress in 46 years!
Do you think humans have evolved in 46 years? Why would the record progress that much
@@o-neil It has nothing to do with human evolution. It has to do with training methods, nutrition and the body proportions and skill of those lifting. Case in point off the top of my head - in 1976 Alexeev could snatch 185 Kg as a super heavyweight, today, Lasha has snatched 225 Kg, nearly as much as Alexeev was handling in the Clean & Jerk back then. That is some serious progression. I knew Bob Hise II back in the day and during his lifetime he said that he saw the worlds first 300 Lb C&J, the first 400 Lb C&J and the first 500 Lb C&J. Today, we are knocking on the door of the first 600 Lb C&J.
@@iowa_don that "progression" only comes from the fact that Lasha don't have to press. Alexeev was very good at pressing and he devoted a lot of time and resources to ot obviously. Then clean and press was removed and suddenly a lot of people snatching 200+. If you'd removed the snatch from weightlifting, clean and jerk would go up significantly too.
How much did alexeev weigh and how much does lasha weigh?
coming from a 29 year old athlete here... there's a HUGE difference between an 18 year old and a 29 year old athlete. imagine what this kid will be doing in 11 years.
lu approves
I miss this sound but in ‘’Lu xiao Jun”🥺🥹
But are they ok?
