Erzurum is a city where I was born and raised and practiced the art of minstrelsy for years. I suggest you draw attention to the fact that the region is an important center for minstrel literature. Thank you for your interest.
Actually we shared about “asiklik” tradition in our other video in Kars since is there where we had the chance to experience it, I must say that I loved it and is an important tradition that more people should be aware of, that even is part of UNESCO’s World Heritage, I have also shared something about it on my Instagram page ❤️

I am South African Turk. My great grandfather Sheikh Abubaker Effendi lived in Erzerum. We visited Erzerum in 2017. We stayed at hotel at the Palandoka Mountain. It was very cold but we enjoyed visiting all the historical sites. Also visited the madrassa where my Great Grandfather taught. We were very well received by the City Manager Ergun Bey and Mayor Sekmen of Erzerum. Turkush people are very hospitable, we have beautiful memories of our time in Erzerum

Endless thanks to you as a folk poet from Erzurum for sharing a nice video about Erzurum. Erzurum and Kars regions come to the forefront throughout Turkey with their historical and natural beauties, natural delicacies, as well as "the tradition of minstrelsy". This used to be Western Armenia. The Asian side of Turkey belongs to Armenia. It's a shame Armenians get no credit for this. The Asian side of Turkey is the ancestral homeland of many Armenians, including this city.
A Kars video is coming soon, and there we will show many Armenian heritage sites. And you’re so right, all of those provinces used to be part of Armenia once, we can still find a lot of its culture there.
Anatolia is homeland of many civilizations and ethnic groups. Human settlement in Anatolia goes back at least 15,000 years, way before than the Armenians. Only for a short period of time Armenians controlled the territories you mentioned as an independent state/kingdom. Most of the time they preserved their existence as a vassal of Persians, Greeks, Romans, Byzantines, Arabs, Turks, and Mongols. The land has been under Turkish control for 10 centuries, except for brief Mongolian and Russian periods. Armenians still could have been in Anatolia if they didn't try to assassinate the sultan, and their leaders didn't take the side of the enemies of Ottomans and cooperate with them.
The city doesn't belong to your country. Erzurum is and will forever be a Turkish city. So you better remember this before writing nonsense. Btw Yerevan is a Turkish city and is called Revan.
Are you sure this Madrasas and mosque are Turkish? They look very much like Armenian churches, architecture, carvings on walls etc. Erzurum was/is an Armenian city without Armenians, also used to be called Karin. So called Eastern Anatolia is actually Western Armenia and small part of Eastern Armenia.
Dude drop it. We use modern descriptions now. Sure armenia had a hand in this region for a long time BUT not anymore get over it, Christian saint warrior mfer.
Sen ondan evvel 800 yılı geçkin türklerin hüküm sürdüğü Revan ( Erivan) şehrinde bırak tek türkün yaşmasını yüzlerce mescitten tek 1 tanesinin ayakta kalmasına üzül.

Armenians lived in Erzurum before the Turks' crime in 1826, the great family of our ancestors fled to Javak.

It’s beautiful Kurdistan the land of upper Mesopotamia the cradle of the modern civilisation , Indo European language birth place
The name of the city is Karin. This is part of Historic Armenia.
No it is Erzurum. This city is part of Turkey, like a thousand year "historically"

The asian side of Turkey is literally %90 of Turkey? No side of Turkey belongs to Armenia. Do you live in Russia?
U cant say this
Nice Kurdish and Arminian city.
Erzurum always been a turkish city.
Try to say this in centre of Erzurum you Mesopotamian filth
You look like halime sultan with that old ottaman clouse
You are invited to visit Bangladesh.
Thank you so much! Hopefully one day soon! 🙏🙏
The places where Armenians were concentrated were the southeastern Anatolia region.
Dude drop it. We use modern descriptions now. Sure armenia had a hand in this region for a long time BUT not anymore get over it, Christian saint warrior mfer.
