    Nice. I like it. Subbed. Even tho you didn't list those badass pliers you cut the wire and hook shank with on the tool list 😉😃

    Keep up the good work really appreciate having the fly and vice so close to the camera. Sadly too many tiers forget the video is about the fly not about them which sometimes makes it difficult for a beginner to follow.

    Hi Nice fly. Is there a special reason why you cut of the second hook?

    • @Coastfly
      @Coastfly  3 роки тому +1

      No other reason than i dont like stinger hooks. 😅👍🏻

    amazing fly. I will attempt this haha. Do you not like the fish skull shanks? is that why you used the hook then cut it off?

    what sizes hooks for a smaller size front and rear hooks please really nice looking fly will be tying some thanks like for white bass and stripes in ohio river ?

    • @Coastfly
      @Coastfly  7 років тому

      Wildman this particular size should be fine for fish like that.. its around 1,5 inch in length.. but if you whant a smaller one i would tie it on a size 8 in front and a 10 in the back.. or a size 6 in front and then no tail in the back..

    Dont you get the darn " tail-nippers" by not having the hook at the back??

    • @Coastfly
      @Coastfly  3 роки тому

      Nope.. I believe tail nippers are a myth... :-) and i hate tangling trailer hooks.. They do more harm than good if you ask me.. :-D
