This guy needs an open day at the ring to himself. I know this man can break the 7 minute barrier. I KNOW he can do it. These lap times he produces time and time again with 7:25, 7:22, w/e, are a result of running into traffic. I'm telling you all, you have my word- if you give this man a day at the track, all to himself with a set of fresh race slicks and tire warmers, perhaps even with an upgraded motorcycle, he can break that barrier. I promise you, he can do it.
I ride the ring on my R1 RN32 once or twice a month. I think I am quick - but man you are 30 to 40 kmh faster than me EVERYWHERE on this video - and doesn't look like you were even trying at the end! The only place we have the same speed is at the Carousel and at the barriers when we put the ticket in! RESPECT!
I love how at the end he's doing 150km/h and the engine sounds like it just going out of bed and is still sleepy and then there's my 1.4l Corolla doing 130km/h on the highway and screaming for mercy haha... I love bikes.
Big balls of steel I'd say. But I think his big balls of steel are slowing him down. He needs to swap to some carbon fibre ones and check out the difference in lap times ;-p

that sound....moto gp for the masses.on a more technical note...i reckon the chap who spanked the ring on a zx10 should give it a shot with either the r1 or duke v4.....be interesting to say the least.all 3 guys mentioned here are way above most peoples abilities.respect out there guys.

This is usefull for circuit. Newer after 2015 / R1 and R1M are software limited to 300 km/h/189 mph. Their ecu must be reflashed in order to remove that top speed limiter. Although the speedo will not show always more than 299/189, revs will pass 13krpm in 6th gear, after reflashing. R1 and R1M are very fast

Hast du eigentlich das ABS noch drauf? Merk das es bei meiner anfängt zu stören. War mal in Hockenheim mit meiner und die hat so viel schlechter verzögert als die Cup R6 das ich fast geweint hab. Hab dann erst später auf der Landstraße bemerkt das des ABS wohl dazwischenfunkt. Glaub hat was mit dem Neigungssensor zu tun, weil quer fahren stört garnicht. Schätz des damit zu tun das des Hinterrad zu hoch kommt?
naja grösstenteil is hald die r1 en richtiges rennbike und somit ned geeignet für die strasse die bmw hingegen genauso geil aufr strasse wie piste aber die unterschiede sind sehr klein aufr piste. bmw is einiges stabiler im fahrverhalten und somit sehr leicht zum fahren aber dadurch auch bissel schwerfellig teilweise aber beides top bikes

So with all the added electronics, this R1 should be able to smoke "old" R1 times, right? There's this vid of a claimed 7:10 on a modded 2005 R1 and I wonder how the new R1 fares against it. How does the 2015 R1 feel in comparison? Can you trust the electronics and just slam the brakes without fearing a lowsider, or crack it up on corner exits with no risk of a low/highsider? Really curious!
Looks, if 2005 R1 was a Citroen 2cv then 2015 and 2020 R1 are like C3 WRC. There is no way to compare them. The electronic is nut but so natural than you don't feel it. The engine is nut but the electronic give you such super hero power to control it. The frame is perfect, as stable as a train but the front is as accurate as a sniper. 2005 was a great bike but damn, it looks like crap compared to that last generation.

Wollte wissen wenn ich dann soweit bin vom Alter und höher als 35 Kw fahren kann (normal ist z800 auf 83 Kw 113 PS) , macht es einen grossen Unterschied von der Beschleunigung ? danke für die Antwort ! soweit ich dich verstehe dreht sich die frage ned um ab wann du legal offen fahren kann sondern abwann es zu empfehlen wär. also ich würd sagen solang du ned unbedingt den wunsch hast offen zu fahren ises eventuell noch bissel früh aber der unterschied is ez auch ned brutal gross man muss ja auch ned immer vollgas fahren :D denk mal so 10k km mit drosslung is sicher ned schlecht aber dann würd ich schon öffnen kannst auch viel sicherer überholen ;)

This R1 appears to be able to lift the front end at any speed. Very impressive skill from the pilot.
Raising the front like this comes from the power of the bike. His skill shows everywhere.. But not through the raising of the front 😅
