Fun Fact: In the FEMC route which is exclusive to Persona 3 Portable. You can actually save Shinjiro if you complete his social link before October Fourth. Because in that Social Link you give him a pocket watch which absorbed one of Takaya's bullets. He is still terminal though, it is implied he is given one more year to live so he can pass away on his own terms.
