Please don't apologize!! As other people have noted, it's natural to want to take the position of coach and help someone when they're struggling lol. So I definitely understand the instinct :) And again, your advice is really good lmao. Just maybe not every single turn ;)

i also want to say - i love discussion/advice for sure! your takes helped me a lot because it sparked so many ideas and helped me understand the game a lot better. i hope you won't feel completely discouraged from discussions :)

Huh, this is interesting. I do ask for advice, suggestions, hints, and help on builds, strategies and whatnot. I definitely invite discussion on how to build characters and win a battle. But when it comes to every single turn - "do the electric move now, now use purge charm, now use this" it feels a bit like i might as well give them the controller. There's no room for improvisation or any creativity. That said, I appreciate this take :)

That's a complete different scenario, a coach was hired to TEACH them how to win. They will prepare the athlete BEFORE the match, and once the match starts it's up to them. Backseat gaming on the other hand is just straight up telling the streamer what to do at that exact moment. It would be the equivalent of the coach just playing in place of their athlete.

The main difference is consent.

I disagree. Backseating is like playing chess but you hear constantly voices telling you how to play the game and what to do in every move

@@lil_dweeby Qingyi is predicted to be a really good stun unit that can fit in a lot of teams. Jane will be our anomaly-enabler in a similar way to how Kafka is our DOT-enabler. I can't believe they didn't talk about their kits more in the stream
